I peeked inside the set and saw Ewan filming a scene for his new show, Halston. He had told me to meet him there, but I guess they were going a bit longer than usual, so I waited patiently behind the wall.

A few moments later, I heard the director yell, "Cut!", and the scene was over. He told the cast to take a break for a bit, and once everybody was out, I looked around the corner again. Ewan was still sitting in his comfy red desk chair, waiting for me to appear somewhere.

I popped my head out and said, "Hello there."

He glanced in my direction and spotted me, a smirk shaping his lips. "You have no idea how many times I've heard that," Ewan chuckled. "If I had a nickel for every time someone said those two words, I'd be a billionaire."

"And you're not already?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Not quite yet," he replied. "Maybe a few more years from now."

I then noticed all the beautiful drawings on the billboard, marking all the different ideas that Halston had in mind. I walked closer to it and asked, "Did you make any of these?"

"No," Ewan shook his head. "I can't draw to save my life."

"You?" I mocked playfully. "You have all these incredible talents, but you can't draw?"

"I'm afraid not," he smiled sheepishly. "It's my weakness."

I stepped over to him and sat down on his lap, wrapping my arms around his neck. "You aren't weak to me," I said quietly, resting my forehead on his.

"I appreciate it, darling," Ewan replied while nuzzling his nose into my cheek.

After sitting like that for a few minutes, I kissed his head and got up. "I should probably get going before the crew arrives."

"Alright," he nodded. "I'll see you later, then?"

"You know it," I smiled. "Don't stay up too late."

"I won't," Ewan chuckled.

With a satisfied nod, I walked out of the room and back to the hotel.
