I stood in the large crowd and watched Ewan as he was interviewed with a group of actors about his new movie. The closeness of the people made me uncomfortable, but I sucked it up and stayed for him.
About ten minutes in, Ewan's eyes landed on me, and he gave the tiniest smile, indicating that he knew I was there. I nodded back in acknowledgment to nonverbally tell him I had seen his little gesture.
He then switched his gaze towards the interviewer and focused his attention on him. I knew he had work to do, so I slowly backed out of the crowd and found a nearby coffee shop where I could wait until Ewan's interview was done.
