I held onto Ewan's waist tightly as he drove me on his motorcycle through the beautiful landscapes of Scotland. My hair was blowing wildly from the wind, giving me a thrill that sent goosebumps all over my skin. Usually, I was not a person who liked to go fast, but if Ewan was in control of whatever we were riding, then I was a bit more open to it.

Green hills and trees passed by in a spectacular blur, almost giving off the impression of a stop-motion film. The seat under me rumbled ferociously as we pulled into a small parking lot that was the perfect tourist attraction. One of the tallest hills I had ever seen was towering in front of us in a commanding manner.

Once Ewan had turned the engine off, I said in wonder, "I can't believe that's real."

He took off his helmet and chuckled. "I assure you, darling, that's real."

The top of the hill looked like it could've touched space, and I found myself saying quietly, "Wow."

Ewan hopped off the bike and, like a true gentleman, helped me off as well. His leather-gloved hand slipped through mine as he led me along the gravelly path, getting me closer to the gigantic hill.

I felt like I was standing by a space shuttle just before it launched into the skies, and I couldn't help but shutter at the shear size of it. Ewan squeezed my hand comfortingly and pulled me gently to his side.

"I know it looks scary," he said in a soft tone. "But you don't need to worry about anything. We're perfectly safe right here."

I nodded in acknowledgement. "Still looks intimidating, though."

"Understandable," he replied, kissing the side of my head. "It took me a long time to adjust to the hill's size, but I eventually got used to it and learned to admire its beauty."

We stood in silence, gazing at the masterpiece while seagulls flew through the blue sky and cried out to each other. It truly was a sight to behold, so I shook off my anxiety and admired it, just like Ewan had said.

I felt my grip loosen around his hand as I relaxed and soaked in the moment.
