While Ewan was doing his interview for Buzzfeed, he had been recounting a story about how we had first met on the set of Moulin Rouge!, and he quickly started to burst out in laughter. I stood in the back with my hand covering my mouth as I tried to stifle my own giggles. His laugh was truly one of the most contagious sounds I had ever heard, and it never failed to make me respond in kind. I could even see the crew around me shaking with suppressed chuckles.
Laughter really was the best medicine ever.
