Lucy POV

Is that my phone ringing? No it can't be, it's really early. I opened my eyes slightly to see the room was pitch black except the corner where my phone was lying. I rolled off of Ian's chest and out from between his legs and picked my phone up from the bed side table and looked at the caller ID which said 'Mamma H'.

"Holly!" I practically yelled through the phone waking Ian from his deep slumber.

"Goose! Will you be busy in thirty minutes?"

"No, but I'll be going to see Sasha later on, why?" My mood changed from happy and cheery to sad and upset. I don't want to see Sasha crying her eyes out and crying herself to sleep at four in the morning because she can't calm down. As much as I don't want to see her do it I have to. I can't leave her all day herself crying or she might do something she would regret.

"Okay, and I'm coming over to see how you're keeping. I will see you soon, love you." Holly said through the phone before hanging up.

Holly has been good friends with my mom for as long as I can remember. She is like an aunt to me and has been there for me throughout the years when I've needed advice about stuff that I can't talk to my mom about.

"Holly is coming over in thirty minutes to see us. Are you still going to see your sister and your mom today or are you staying home?" I asked Ian as I got up from the bed and walked over to the walk-in closet to get something to wear for the day.

"I'm going to see them for a little while, I just don't want to see Sasha cry again." Ian got up and walked over to the set of drawers to pull a pair of jeans and an old white shirt to go with them. "And I don't want to see you upset either." Last night, I was a mess.

"About last night Ian, I'm sorry. I don't know what for but I'm sorry. Maybe for just letting it all out or not telling you when I was feeling like this but thank you for listening to me and comforting me." I gave him a small smile and turned my back then walked further into the closet. He came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my stomach and put his chin on my shoulder.

"I'm always here, I was just surprised you managed to hold it all together for everybody yesterday. I love you." He spun me round and kissed me passionately and I kissed him back with the same force.

"I. Love. You. Too." I said between kisses. He walked off and went for a shower while I put a floaty pink top and a pair of black leggings on. I walked downstairs to make us both coffees, bowls of cereal and some toast.

...

Not long after Ian had left I heard the front door open and then heard Holly shouting, "Goose!"

"In here," I replied and then seen Holly round the corner with a big smile on her face that would make anybody's day.

"Hello how are you doi-" Holly's face dropped, her eyes fell to my left hand and her jaw nearly hit the floor. "Oh. My. God. Lucy! Why didn't you tell me?" She grabbed my hand and admired the rock on my second to last finger.

"Well I was going to after I found out how you were doing!" I said back with a huge smile on my face.

"Aw, I'm so happy for you guys. Come here." I bummed myself along the couch to give her a big hug and she wrapped her arms around me. I pulled myself back after what felt like five minutes to see she was teary eyed.

"No, please don't cry H."

"Well, you're all grown up now and it's scary. Two minutes ago you were learning how to crawl now you're going to get married! Any thing else you've neglected to tell me about your life?" She said sarcasticly not expecting to hear me say what I did.
