Stiles' Point of View
Parrish, fully in his hellhound form, burns through one of the doors to the closed unit and starts down the hallway. He's growling menacingly at the chimera pack, who are gaping at him in surprise. Tracy is still pinning Valack against the wall by the throat as Theo smirks in satisfaction at the sight of Parrish in front of them. Josh extends his fangs and claws in preparation for a fight while Theo rushes into Ainsley's room.
He returns to the hallway a moment later, holding a weak and woozy Ainsley in front of him in a choke-hold, his claws out, as Parrish growls at him threateningly. I stand up from where I had been hiding out, ready to tackle Theo to the ground if he even thinks about hurting Ainsley.
Theo stares Parrish down. "Back off," he orders as Tracy releases Valack from the choke-hold, walking back to the chimera pack.
Parrish ignores him, continuing down the hallway. I see Ainsley's eyes widen as Theo's grip on her neck increases, so much so that he draws blood from where his claws are digging into her skin. I'm ready to run, but Theo's voice stops him, still speaking to Parrish, "I said, back off."
When Parrish stops slightly, Theo looks over at Josh, Corey, and Tracy, gesturing to Parrish. "Take him," he orders.
Corey's eyes go wide and he scoffs. "The guy's on fire!" he argues.
"You'll heal," Theo reminds him heartlessly. "Do it!"
While Corey hesitates, Tracy, eager to fight and happy to follow Theo's orders without question, hisses loudly as she lunges for Parrish, jamming her claws into his stomach to paralyze him. Unfortunately for Tracy, Parrish seems to be immune to kanima venom and simply gives her an unimpressed look before hitting her in the temple with his elbow with so much force that she's thrown against the bulletproof-glass door of another cell.
Josh breaks one of the metal tubes in the wall that protect the wires running through the building so he can siphon electricity from the cables and shock Parrish. He pierces the hellhound's shoulder with his glowing purple claws, but his electrokinesis also has no effect on Parrish whatsoever.
Josh turns back to Theo with a horrified and panicked expression before shouting at him, "Theo, this isn't working!"
Parrish punches Josh in the stomach and lands on the floor next to the barely-conscious Tracy, who is still recovering from her own injuries. The sound of a drill whirring brings my attention back to Ainsley and Theo, eyes widening at how Valack has snuck back into Ainsley's room to grab the drill he used to perform trephination on Ainsley. He takes it and jams it into the back of Theo's thigh. Theo roars in pain and reflexively lets go of Ainsley, falling to his knees. Ainsley, too weak to stand to her feet, collapses without the support.
