"as long as you love me, i'll be your platinum." lorenzo smiled.

"i'll be your silver." she giggled.

"i'll be your gold." berkshire took her hand in his.

"as long as you love me." they said in unison.

"you guys are so cute, it's disgusting." pansy rolled her eyes and left the common room.

lorenzo berkshire loved justin bieber. he would sing his songs to his girlfriend, mary. she always found it kind of cheesy but it was still cute. his favorite to sing to her was 'u smile'. he loved how flustered she'd get. the other boys never understood the fascination with bieber, but they didn't question it, either. pansy and mary were both obsessed with the singer, as was berkshire and even tom riddle. 

lorenzo smiled at his girl. she had just walked out of class, not noticing that he was there. regulus tapped her shoulder and gestured to her boyfriend. mary wrapped her arms around his neck, hugging him. once she let him go, they walked to the black lake together. mary was shocked to see a beautiful picnic set up with all her favorite foods. lorenzo took her hand and led the girl down towards it.

"enzie, what is this?" she looked at him with nothing but love.

"i just wanted to do something nice for you." he shrugged.

once she sat down, berkshire pulled a guitar from behind the tree. he started to play one less lonely girl. she tried not to cry when he started singing, loving the sound of his voice. it's been three years since they first started dating, and mary still can't get over it. regulus, draco, tom, theodore, and pansy were seen walking down to the lake after he hit the chorus - they were all carrying white roses. 

they handed her the roses and stood behind the couple. once lorenzo finished singing, he took the girl's hands in his, and got down on one knee. berkshire pulled a ring box out of his pocket and opened it in front of her.

"i've never known true happiness before you. i've never known true love before you. i've never had any interest in settling down before you. then you came along and flipped my whole world on its head. i love the time we spent together and can't wait to make more memories. so, mary elizabeth riddle, will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" lorenzo tried not to cry.

"of course, i'll marry you, zozo. i'd only ever say yes to you." she nodded and he slipped the ring on her finger.

"it's about fucking time, too. bro's been talking about proposing for a YEAR." draco huffed.

"shut up, malfoy." tom nudged him with his elbow.

lorenzo thanked the boys and pansy for helping him. regulus took mary's hand and ran into the castle with her. berkshire and the others hurried after them. mary and reggie arrived in the great hall to a beautiful engagement party. the girl had tears in her eyes once again, seeing all hers and lorenzo's friends there. berkshire almost started yelling at black for stealing his girl, but stopped once he saw what was happening.

"are you lot insane? you did all this for us?" berkshire wrapped his arms around his fiance.

"of course! it's about damn time you asked her, mate, and we've had this planned for over a year. just needed you to pop the question." mattheo pat his friend on the back.

"thank you guys." mary smiled, trying not to get too emotional.

lorenzo and mary were pretty exhausted after the party. they headed straight to berkshire's dorm with the goal of finally getting some sleep. mattheo, draco, and theodore handed them four boxes of condoms before letting them go up to the dorms. mary threw one of them at matty's head and flipped off the other two.

"as long as you love me?" lorenzo smiled at her as they lied down.

"we could be starving." she chuckled.

"we could be homeless." the boy blushed.

"we could be broke." mary kissed his forehead and fell asleep in her fiancé's arms.
