barty was never good with jealousy. his girl was exactly that. his. he didn't like to share. he didn't like when other people looked at her. rosalina was the most beautiful girl in all of hogwarts (according to barty). he called her rose. that's what she was to him; a rose. she was beautiful, she was everything to him. the best part, she knew it too.

mattheo and theodore loved messing with barty - they loved riling him up. rosalina knew what they were doing but she loved seeing her boyfriend's eyes darken when he got jealous, so she let them do it. tom, regulus, and draco just loved watching them. it was free entertainment for them, and every other slytherin. rosalina wasn't even in slytherin - she was a hufflepuff. her dorm was halfway across campus.

mattheo was currently sitting on one side of rosalina, and theodore was on the other. barty had been talking to tom and draco, not noticing what was happening in the common room. rosalina smiled at the boys as they engaged in conversation. barty only took notice when he heard his girl laughing. his head snapped in rosalina's direction, catching tom and draco off guard for a minute.

"you ever hear the story of barty realizing he was in love with you?" theodore asked, a smirk on his face as he caught barty's glare.

"no? he never told me." rosaline blushed.

"oh, it's a funny story. you gotta hear this, love." mattheo stifled a chuckle.

"i think you've said enough." barty pulled rosalina by her hand.

rosalina kissed his cheek and said she was fine where she was. the girl sat back down between the boys and listened to the story. barty went back to tom and draco, but his eyes never left the three on the couch. tom and draco gave up after a few minutes of him not listening. barty's eyes were dark as he watched mattheo throw an arm around her shoulder and theodore rested his hand on her knee. the boys knew what they were doing.

"alright sweetheart, you're boy toy is getting jealous. we better leave you and brooder alone now." mattheo kissed the top of her head, smirking when she blushed.

"such a shame. you're our friend too." theodore winked at her before they both left the common room.

once they leave, barty's hands are on her waist, pulling her back against his front. he leaves a trail of kisses on rosalina's neck and collarbone. some leave marks, some don't. rosalina's melts almost immediately, but it doesn't last long. barty drags her back up to his room and locks the door behind him.

"hi princess." barty's voice was low, almost dangerous.

"hi." rosalina flashed him her brightest smile.

"you let them touch you. you know how i feel about people touching my pretty girl, don't you?" barty smirked, watching her back touch the wall and her eyes darken.

he placed his hands on either side of the wall, caging her in. rosalina couldn't help the blush that spread across her face when barty leant down to whisper something in her ear. she squirmed under her gaze, biting her lip to keep from letting any sounds escape. barty didn't exactly appreciate that, so he slid a hand up her thigh and started to pepper more kisses over her neck. rosalina knew she was losing her composure when a small gasp escaped her lips. she felt barty smirk against her skin.

"you make such pretty sounds for me, baby. i love hearing you." barty's lips ghosted over hers.

her breath caught in her throat, her face red as can be, and barty stepped away from her. he walked over to his desk and sat in his chair. rosalina took a small breath in and glared at him before sitting on his bed, as far away as she could get. she didn't like to be teased, she didn't like to be left hanging like that, and barty knew it. but she loved it at the same time. it meant she'd be in for a hell of a night with barty.

if he ever got out of that damn desk chair and made his way over to her, that is.

"that was uncalled for." rosalina moved so her back was against the headboard.

"what was, love? me leaving you hanging or you letting those boys touch you?" barty asked, not even looking up.

"they're my friends, barty. i don't want them like i want you." she sighed and rolled her eyes.

barty's eyes snapped up to meet hers. he knew that sigh. that was the sigh she gave when she rolled her eyes. barty knew every sound she ever made, good or bad. he knew what each laugh meant, he knew what every sigh meant, he knew what every chuckle was for. barty memorized everything there was to memorize about his girl. he lived and breathed for rosalina. he would do anything she asked of him, he would die for her, he would kill for her. all she had to do was say the words.

and she knew that. she knew what to say to make him melt for her, just like she melts for him.

"you should apologize for letting them touch you, then maybe i'll reconsider leaving you hanging like that." barty's eyes never left hers.

"can't we just put that behind us? it happened ages ago." rosalina gave her best puppy dog eyes.

his jaw tightened. he knew what she was trying to do. her eyes were big, doe-y, and full of sunshine, but he knew. he knew the look behind those eyes. rosalina walked over to him and raked her hand over his chest. his breath staggered a bit, but he recovered quickly. his eyes watched her every move, as did hers with his. he didn't move.

"no, rose, i don't think we can. what you pulled out there...there's no putting it behind us." barty's voice wavered just a bit.

rosalina sat in barty's lap and wrapped her arms around his neck. his hands slid down to her waist to keep her steady. she lifted his chin with two fingers and smiled at him. barty felt his chest tighten the way it always did when she smiled at him. she kissed him, lightly, before resting her head on his shoulder.

"baby..." her voice trailed.

"hm?" his grip tightened on her hips.

"please forget about this? it wasn't me making you jealous, it was matty and teddy." she kissed along his jawline.

"you played into it, princess." barty huffed.

"i'm sorry..." she moved so she was right by his ear.

"daddy." rosaline whispered.

every ounce of restraint barty had snapped like a rubber band. he lifted the girl up and threw her on the bed, hovering over her, their noses almost touching. barty's one weakness was that damn word, and she knew it. she loved teasing him with it, especially in public. there was never anything he could do about it in public, but they were in private now. in his room, he could do anything he pleased to her.

and she'd beg him to.

"you're in for it now, sweetheart." barty's eyes were nothing but black and full of lust.

"i'd love to see you try to do something." she sassed back.

"you really don't want to walk tomorrow, do you, baby?" his voice was dangerously low.

rosalina shrugged and pushed barty off of her. she fixed herself up in the mirror and left his room. the girl made her way back to the common room where tom and draco were sitting, now with lorenzo and regulus. barty came out of his room a few minutes later. his hair was disheveled, his shirt was wrinkled, but he didn't care. his eyes were locked on rosalina.

she made a dangerous move by sitting next to tom. rosalina and tom had a history. not a romantic one, but it still made barty jealous every time they interacted. tom caught wind of barty's glare and rosalina's smirk. it clicked almost instantly - she wanted her boyfriend to get worked up.

it might have worked, but the bell signaling curfew was coming up went off. rosalina winked at barty before grabbing her bag and leaving slytherin house. barty got up to follow her, but draco held him back. they couldn't afford to lose any more house points.

"thanks for a fun night, daddy. i'll see you at breakfast tomorrow morning." was the text barty got from rosalina a few minutes after she left.
