evelyn couldn't stand it anymore. cho was flirting with mattheo and theodore right in front of her. she knew damn well that they were taken by her and each other. mattheo caught sight of his girl's anger out of the corner of his eye. riddle nudged his boyfriend, getting him to see it as well. he smirked and grabbed cho's wrist. evelyn huffed in annoyance and turned to talk to harry potter. 

mattheo's blood boiled. as did theodore's. evelyn smiled, giggled, touched his shoulder, and even called the potter boy cute. after the girl bid harry goodbye, she winked at her lovers and left the great hall. tom was in the corridors, talking with lorenzo, when she walked over to them. tom saw the glint of mischief in her eyes and smirked. berkshire caught wind of it too, knowing she was trying to rile her boyfriends up. once mattheo and theodore were in the corridor, they saw evelyn talking to the boys. 

"can we have our girl back, brother?" mattheo asked through gritted teeth.

"i think we have someone she may like to meet. they're new and they were just sorted into slytherin." tom said.

"his name's devin and he's very excited to meet the cutest girl in all of hogwarts." lorenzo smiled as he wrapped an arm around evelyn.

"she's busy this afternoon." theodore rolled his eyes.

"i don't remember making any plans, teddy. i'll tell you about the new boy later though." evelyn smiled as tom and lorenzo pulled the girl away.

"oh she's getting it tonight." mattheo seethed.

mattheo and theodore retreated to their shared dorm and waited for their girl.

 evelyn didn't return until late that night. 

tom and lorenzo dropped her off, wished her a goodnight, then left. she turned to face her boys. she smiled, but there was a hint of something else there. theodore closed and locked the door with his wand as mattheo went over to her. evelyn walked away. she sat in the chair at the desk and pulled out her homework. mattheo and theodore shared a look for a quick second.

"princess? what are you doing?" mattheo asked.

"homework, mattheo. what does it look like?" she sassed.

"are you going to tell us about this boy tom and enzo introduced you to today?" theodore chimed in.

"he was a prick. hates women, thinks all they're good for is making babies and pleasing men, and tried to get me to tell tom and enzo to leave us alone." she shrugged.

"what? are you okay?" mattheo knelt down next to her chair, all the jealousy from earlier had completely melted away.

"i'm fine. i just need to get this essay done." evelyn whispered.

"sweetheart, you know everything he said is wrong, yea?" mattheo took her hands away from the paper, turning her to face him.

evelyn nodded, not in the mood to talk about it. 

tom and lorenzo texted the boys that evelyn may not be in the mood a few minutes later. they explained everything in more detail about the boy they took her to meet. at first, it was just supposed to be a joke. they were going to go back to tom's dorm and hang out for awhile, until they ran into a boy who said hello to evelyn and pulled her away from the boys. 

tom immediately followed them. the boy sat her down on a bench and asked her a shitload of personal questions. she didn't answer any of them, which one fueled the boy to keep talking. tom and lorenzo tried to step in, but he casted a spell that pinned them to the wall. evelyn, in return, answered some of his questions in the hope that he would let her friends go.

devin was interested to hear that evelyn wanted to be a mother someday. he smirked and told her that was all she was good for anyway. evelyn tried not to cry. she'd had enough. the girl pulled out her wand, stunned the boy, freed her friends, and left the corridor. all evelyn wanted to do was get to her dorm and finish her homework. tom and lorenzo tried to talk to her, but she was silent.

mattheo and theodore carried evelyn to their bed and sat in front of her. she wouldn't meet their eyes. nott didn't know what to do or say. 

"you are so much more than that, my love. you are the reason our world spins, your future is so much brighter than that prick's. we'll deal with him, evie. he'll never say that you or any other woman in this school again. okay?" mattheo lifted her chin with his finger.

"thanks matty." she sniffled.

"we love you, cara mia. nothing will ever change that." theodore kissed her forehead.

"i love you both too. can we cuddle? i'm tired." evelyn smiled sadly.

"you never have to ask, baby. we'll ask tom to help you with your essay tomorrow." mattheo laid down behind her.

theodore took the space in front, making sure evelyn was comfortable being sandwiched in between them. she kissed both her boys before falling asleep. theodore and mattheo both vowed to do whatever they could to protect their girl. no one would ever talk about her like that. 

or any other woman for that matter.
