Smuts/One Shots

raven had been hiding notes in her bottom drawer for almost six months. she'd been getting them at least once day, sometimes twice. it was getting hard to ignore, but she knew if her boyfriend tom ever found out, he'd go on a rampage to finding who it was and shutting them up permanently. she didn't want that, so the girl kept the notes hidden for as long she she could.

one morning at breakfast, mattheo and regulus waved raven over to sit next to them. draco, blaise, theodore, and tom hadn't arrived yet. mattheo and regulus were excited to see her. since she started dating tom, he'd been hogging all her time and attention.

"hey raven. anything new?" regulus pushed a plate of french toast towards her.

"nope." she took a bite and avoided their gazes.

"you got one this morning, didn't you?" mattheo sighed.

"got another one of what?" draco slid next to regulus.

"nothing. eat your sad porridge." raven smiled.

regulus and mattheo were the only ones who knew about the notes. they were there when she got her first one. mattheo tried to get her to tell tom and let him take care of it, but she didn't want anyone to die because she couldn't handle something herself. draco and theodore were eating when an owl flew down and threw something in raven's lap. she froze for half a second before getting up and walking out with the letter. 

she got to a dark corner where students never came and sat on a bench. the envelope just had her name written in cursive. she opened it and started reading.

you're on my list, slytherin. your past will always come back to haunt you, and so will i. tell anyone about this and i will kill you.

raven didn't know what to do or how to react. her past was something she tried to keep under wraps - not even tom knew about it. she crumpled the piece of paper up and stuffed it in her robe pockets. raven got up and went back to her dorm, not even bothering to go back to breakfast. she wanted to know who it was and why they were sending her those threatening notes. hell, the one she just got was the most tame out of all of them.

tom noticed she wasn't at breakfast almost immediately. she never missed breakfast. mattheo and theodore looked as if they'd both seen a ghost when tom came into the great hall. he asked where she went. they didn't answer but they both looked towards the door. tom just nodded and left. he headed to her dorm first. once he got there, he went to knock but heard quiet sniffles.

"darling? are you okay?" tom asked through the door.

"i'm fine, tommy." she gathered her notes and put them in a box so he wouldn't see.

tom came into her room. he saw her red eyes and immediately pulled her into a hug. she tried to keep it together, but his comforting hold on her broke then dam she fought so hard to keep up. when she wrapped her arms around his waist, one of the notes fell out of her pocket. raven tried to grab it before tom saw it, but he was faster. he read the note and she watched as his eyes went from a beautiful brown to completely black and void of any emotion.

"who sent this to you, doll?" tom stepped back from her.

"i don't know. they've been showing up for a while. i didn't want to worry you or upset you." she wouldn't meet his eyes.

"how many others do you have?" the boy sighed.

raven didn't want to tell him. she didn't him to see what was happening, but she knew that look all too well. if she didn't show him, he'd tear her room apart to find them. she took a breath and went over to her bottom drawer and pulled it open. it was filled to the brim with notes, all written in cursive, all seemingly from the same person. 

"why didn't you tell me? i could've helped you." tom sifted through them, skimming over what they said.

"i didn't want you to kill someone or hex them or curse them. i don't want you to get expelled because of me." raven shrugged, sitting on her bed.

"i appreciate the concern, sweetheart, but they're threatening your life. i recognize this handwriting. they will be dealt with." tom kissed her forehead, took one of the notes, and left to find his brother.

"shit. tom, please calm down!" raven followed him out.

mattheo was sitting on the couch in the common room, with draco and lorenzo. tom showed the note to the boys and asked them if they recognized the handwriting. mattheo nodded. raven tried to get them to let it go, but neither boy was willing to listen.

"raven, we told you to tell tom about this the second you got the first note. he could have taken care of this when it started, and it wouldn't have gotten this far." draco advised.

"you knew about this and didn't tell me?" tom looked between the three boys.

"we were sworn to secrecy. cmon, let's go." mattheo crumpled the note and left slytherin house.

"no! stop!" raven rolled her eyes and followed them.
