kuroo slept surprisingly well for a sleepover. he was used to waking up on the floor, even if he was hosting, and especially if he was hosting, because he always gave up his bed for someone else, or waking up squeezed between yaku and kai on the couch.
at first he got scared that he kicked them both out of bed, but the thing he was on was more comfortable than any couch he had ever sat on. with that confusion, he opened his eyes, which landed on a pink blanket he had thrown over himself.
he looked to the left and right, and using deduction, he discovered that it was yn's blanket, bed, and room. however, no sight of yn anywhere.
now that was embarrassing.
getting up was harder than ever because, damn, that bed was comfortable and the bedding smelled so good, but he couldn't bear to lie there any longer. not long after falling asleep during their tutoring session, he offered himself. he didn't even remember how much studying they had done before he passed out. and where was yn?
his legs led him downstairs, and it was the right track because he heard voices and quiet music downstairs. it was already bright, but he didn't have his phone with him, he had left it on the coffee table the night before going to yn's room, so he couldn't even check the time.
"look who's up." he heard yaku's annoying voice right away. "damn, what did you do to him?"
it took a moment to realize, but yaku was speaking to yn, who was standing in the kitchen with a pan in her hand. the smell of warm pancakes woke him up more than the wave of embarrassment from earlier.
"he did it to himself," yn said, taking a moment to look at him, but he couldn't blame her, he looked like a mess. hot mess if she had to be honest.
but staring wasn't okay, so she got back to her job, which this morning was making pancakes on yuuto's special request.
it was an easy thing to make for a lot of people, and she didn't mind. the first batch was made and eaten by those who woke up first and had already left to go live their lives, and the second batch, which consisted of one of the pancakes she had just flipped on a pan, was for the the rest. yaku insisted on staying and waiting for kuroo, he asked if he could, and yn had to appreciate that he asked, so he could, he wasn't that bad, and he was kind of funny, she had to admit that, lev was yuuto's new best friend, so there wasn't even a question about whether he could stay, of course he could, kuroo had barely woke up, and kenma hadn't got up, yet.
"nice," lev gasped in awe of her skill.
"where's the rest?" kuroo asked after clearing his throat.
"at home, it's 1pm already," yaku said, and kuroo struggled not to open his mouth in surprise. "don't worry, kenma didn't woke up yet, so you're not the last one."
his mind was clearer now, so he remembered that he and yn had stayed up until at least 4am, but he had no idea if he just fell asleep or if she let him to sleep in her bed. was she also sleeping there?
