kuroo felt like something had changed between him and yn this time. he couldn't fall asleep because of it.
he wasn't sure what to do next, but it was clear that they were getting closer to being more than just friends.
he couldn't think of another word to describe what yn did when she invited him home than taking care of him. she told him she needed to make dinner for her siblings, but it would be enough for him as well, so he wouldn't go home hungry. she talked with him the entire time, and even when kuroo pointed out that it was ridiculous that he was reacting so badly to one argument with his parents, she took him seriously and comforted him.
he'd never felt so taken care of by his friends. of course, they were great friends who always listened to him and helped him, but it was different.
kuroo had known he was developing a crush on yn for quite some time, but he never admitted it. it was easy not to act on it because there was a line of friendship that they did not cross. but after she cried on the phone with him and he felt like he could talk about anything that bothered him and still be taken seriously, the bond between them became stronger.
