"what's the plan for the night?" yn asked, her gaze drawn to three bags filled with snacks bought by yuto.

they shared the chores, she changed the sheets in the spare rooms, and yuuto went shopping with her card. she could've guessed that no healthy food choices would be made. good. when she was shopping, she felt too responsible for her siblings' balanced diets rich in vitamins and other nutrients that a human body requires, especially as they grew.

"movies," he said, unpacking bags quickly because his shopping spree had taken longer than expected and guests would arrive soon.

this time, they decided to meet up a little later than usual for their sleepovers because it was already summer, the days were longer, and they had a strict plan to have a movie night, which obviously required nighttime. that is why yuuto struggled to stay on time with everything because he believed he had so much time.

"no playing volleyball today?"

"nope, i'm worn out after the yesterdays game and i'm pretty sure that everyone feels the same."

yn wished she could finally go to one of yuuto's games, but she always had something to do. if it wasn't watching twins, it was dealing with something for her father, if not, it was a random emergency caused by kenji or akari, other times, it was jun, who needed to change their shared schedule because something came up and he usually took up her entire afternoon, trying to talk about her, which was always the last thing she wanted to talk about, and sometimes she just needed to study to avoid dropping her grades again.

"oh, sweet," akari cheered, grabbing one pack of gummies off the counter.

"hey!" yuto yelled after her as she ran up the stairs before he could catch her.

"let her have it," she said, waving her hand. the last thing they needed was an argument. "you bought more than enough and we still have some in the drawers, so don't worry about running out."

"are you sure?"

"i'm sure, so don't stress it out."

with his enthusiasm returned, yuuto began unpacking snacks to fill some bowls and plates that yn had already placed on the coffee table in the living room. the doorbell rang while he was debating whether to store the cookies that didn't fit in the bowl or just push them into his mouth.

"i'll open," yn said, because yuuto was overly focused on the task. she moved toward the doors, but a sudden flash ran from the stairs and opened the doors before her. "what did i tell you about opening doors for strangers?" she huffed, pulling kenji back by the collar of his shirt. "come in," she said to them. she had to give the team credit for being extremely punctual.

"they're not strangers," kenji groaned, moving his hands to point at the guests and removing their shoes.

"they could be, you can't even reach the peephole to see who's on the other side."
