"don't you have something more fun to do?" yn asked.
"what's more fun than studying on friday night?" that wasn't even a lie. [...]
"woah, you are way more lame than people give you credit for," she chuckled.
"yeah, all of this makes people think t...

everything happened too quickly for yn's brain to record. she was walking down the stairs, annoyed by some people's loud yelling and running around because classes had just ended, and the next she was cluching her hands on her head from pain, ignoring all of the'sorries' that couldn't get past her ear.
someone called her name from the top of the stairs, and when she turned around to see who it was, she felt a hit to her shoulder and stumbled, causing her to fall down the stairs.
she ended up on her knees in the middle of the hallway, holding her head. not fun for monday. at the very least, the crowd scattered quickly because no one wanted to accept responsibility for knocking yn down the stairs, and everyone wanted to return home.
"you hit your head?" she heard a panicked voice on the side.
"she'll be fine, chill out. let's go, yn." she felt hands on her waist, dragging her up, and tried to stand up, but her head was spinning so fast that she could barely look up straight.
"she c-can have a concussion!" some girl on the side spoke.
"she's got a hard head." yn felt a pat on her head, which was not nice at all. but it helped her senses return because she only knew one person who could easily touch her without worrying about how she felt.
"what happend?"
kuroo was walking through an almost empty hallway to the library, where he was supposed to meet one of his classmates to study for a while, which was a cover for 'kuroo-san, could you help me?', because all of his classmates were too proud to admit that they needed help in college-prep classes, so they simply asked him to study with them.
but as he walked, he noticed that the last group of people who hadn't left for home or their club meetings were yn, kimura, and his previously mentioned classmate, yamada.
"ln-san fell down the stairs and hit her head," she said immediately.
kuroo looked at yn, who was clearly in pain and uncomfortable. he didn't need to be a mind reader to know she was unhappy with kimura's hands on her.
"she's fine," he said, not trying to sound calmer or quieter, his lips close to yn's ear. she whinced and turned her head away.
"yeah, so let go of me," yn huffed, attempting to take his arm off her.
"see? funny as always, you can go," kimura said to the two people in front of them.
"get your hands off of her," kuroo heard himself say.
god, it sounded so bad, not at all like it did in movies, but at least he got over his irrational fear of kimura. and all it took was for him to piss him off. he knew it would wake him up in the middle of the night if he stood there doing nothing.
"chill out."
"i'm not going to chill out, when yn told you countless times before to leave her alone, and you still think you can bother her." being the team captain taught him a variety of skills, including patience and understanding, but his favorite was how to stand to look bigger and more serious.
