Lucia's POV

"Good morning" Pablo chimed as I walked into the kitchen.

"Good morning" I groggily answered, still being half asleep.

Today was Pablo's game against Atletico Madrid. Kickoff was at nine in the evening, so there were still about thirteen hours before the game would start.

I was allowed to start with practice again last week, so I had to head out in about an hour for training.

I moved over to the stove where Pablo made us breakfast and put my head onto his shoulder.

"You look like you're in the need of a coffee." He chuckled and put the scrambled eggs on two plates.

I laughed, shaking my head softly and made two coffees for us.

"I just sleep too good next to you." I joked and sat down to eat.

"I feel flattered." Pablo grinned.

We ate and then did the dishes together before Pablo spoke again.

"My parents and Aurora will be here tonight too, they offered to take you with them."

"That would be perfect."

He always spoke very highly of his family, so I was actually more excited than nervous to meet them tonight.

Thirty minutes later I was on my way to practice and got ready in the locker room when Alba came over to me.

"Good to see you train again! We missed you." She said and patted my back softly.

Alba was three years older, becoming quickly one of my closest friends alongside Elena.

Elena joined us during the warmup, and only then did I realize how much I missed playing volleyball. I guess Pablo did a great job at keeping me distracted.

"I thought about having a watch party for the game tonight, do you wanna come over?" Alba asked and Elena immediately agreed.

I haven't told them I was watching the game at the Camp Nou yet.

"I can't, Pablo wanted me to come and watch." I said with a wide grin. I didn't even try to hide it anymore; they've seen me too many times smiling when I told them about Pablo.

Alba rolled her eyes with a smirk.

"I should've known. And he still hasn't asked you out yet?!"

I shook my head.

"I bet he will soon." Elena interrupted.

I came home at around noon, meeting Pablo on the couch. We just chilled a bit more and took a nap together until he had to leave. I then got ready; the goal was to be there at eight, so his family picked me up at seven thirty. Traffic in Barcelona during rush hour was bad but on a game night it was even worse.

I put on the second jersey Pablo had gifted me and smiled as I saw myself in the mirror. I just hoped the paparazzi's wouldn't see me having his number on the back.

My phone dinged five minutes before seven thirty.

Aurora

Hey! It's Aurora, Pablo gave me your number:)

We're waiting outside, it's a black Audi

Hey:) I'll be out in two minutes

I grabbed my small purse with all the essentials before taking a deep breath. Apparently, I was more nervous to meet his parents than I originally thought. As I walked outside and locked the door, I could see the black Audi Aurora had mentioned. Pablo's mother, Belen, waved at me through the window. I kindly waved back, already feeling much calmer.
