Lucias POV
I woke up to my alarm ringing nonstop. After I turned it off, I made my way downstairs to see a sticky note hanging on the refrigerator.
„I'm already at practice:) See you tonight? - pablo"
As I read the little note, I realized he always called himself Pablo when talking to me, I always called him Gavi. Maybe I should ask him what he prefers tonight.
I packed my bag, silently thanking Carlos that we only had a recovery session at eleven.
When I arrived at the gym, Elena immediately sat down next to me on the yoga mat.
Her eyes pierced holes into me, impatiently waiting for the story I've already told her on the phone yesterday night.
„Before I say something stupid I'm sorry about your apartment."
I really appreciated the effort she made to make me feel less stressed about the whole situation.
„It's alright. I'm just annoyed I can't grab anything from the apartment. Literally everything I own is there. I even had to stop by the staff so they could give me new clothes for practice."
I had to buy everything double now until I could move back in, or at least get some of my things.
The athletic coach showed us some exercises to mobilize our knees, but we were still allowed to chit-chat.
„Soo... how's living with Gavi?" Elena wiggled her eyebrows, making me roll my eyes.
„We haven't had much time to talk. I fell asleep on the couch when he prepared the guest bedroom." I shrugged and continued with the exercises.
„He then carried me upstairs."
Elena grinned widely and was about to ask another question when the door to the gym opened and a few Barça players walked inside. I was confused at first, but then remembered their building was being renovated at the moment. We basically had to share facilities with them for now.
Next to Gundogan, Fermin and Pedri a few other players walked inside, acknowledging us volleyball players quickly.
Last to walk in was Gavi. I don't think he realized I was there too, well not until he turned his head to see who's sharing the gym with him.
Gavi had his usual grim expression on his face, looking either utterly confused or angry (even though it was just how he looked like). But his expression quickly changed into a small smile when he saw me. I shot him a grin back, then waved discreetly. Gavi's smile grew wider and he trotted further into the room to hop on a bike to warm up.
Elena nudged my shoulder and teased me once again. I only played it off, trying to act unbothered even though I couldn't stop grinning.

Gavis POV
I know I could've texted Lucia a message instead of writing a handwritten note, but I thought that would cheer her up a bit more.
In the car I thought about how I should tell my friends about Lucia and how she lives with me now for god knows how long. Not that I mind though.
I've met my teammates for breakfast in the cafeteria, sitting opposite Pedri.
Everyone was talking about their plans for the weekend, but I didn't listen. I was thinking about other things.
„Hermano? You alright?" Pedri asked, pulling me out of my daydream.
„He's probably thinking about his girl." Fermin interrupted to which Balde, Ferran and Pedri shot their heads towards me.
„You have a bird?" Ferran asked a bit too loudly, making me snap my head around to see if someone else might have heard.
