Pablo's POV

I threw my phone angrily onto the table, making some of my friends around me turn around to see what was going on. I rarely got angry outside the football pitch, but seeing the media still harassing us, especially my girlfriend, made me want to punch the person who published those pictures. I already know Lucia will be spiraling again at home, making her feel even more insecure about what people had to say about her. Maybe I had to talk to her again, asking if it wasn't the right time for us to go public and to end all these assumptions. Still, I get why she doesn't want to be public because the media then will be after us too. There wasn't really any way out.

"You alright?" Pedri asked from his locker.

"No. They leaked pictures again." I explained in a huff, already packing my bag to head home.

"Maybe you should just trick them." My friend suggested which caught my attention.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked and sat down next to him.

"From the beginning on they assumed Lucia moved in with you because you two were together which wasn't true yet, she first moved in because of the gas leak. The media doesn't know that though. So why not calmly explain the situation and let them think whatever they want?" He was done too, walking to the carpark alongside me.

"So you suggest I'll do an PR stunt?" It wasn't the worst idea, but it wouldn't it also fuel people's imagination even more?

"Not exactly. You can also present it as a normal interview but have one or two questions asked about Lucia's and your "friendship", then you'll explain the situation however you want." He quoted the word "friendship" intentionally, but I got what he meant by that. That was actually not a bad idea. It was long overdue for me anyway to give the fans a bit of content as I wasn't really fond of appearing on our YouTube channel every other week.

"That's actually smart, where does that come from?" I snickered but Pedri only shoved my side.

"Just think about it." He responded and drove off in his Maserati.
