The games are tomorrow. It's been a couple of months since Maisy had said some people were talking about me.
She and Caspian have gone back to school and both have gotten into fights. I mean mostly Caspian, but Maisy would use some pretty words on some people who talked about me.

I'm not proud of them for getting into fights over me though. I just want them to be normal kids and not have to worry about what I'm doing and what people are saying about me.

I know Caspian and Maisy both have friends, but I don't want them to lose any because of it.

Right now I'm looking out the window from the kitchen sink watching Maisy, Casp, and Finn play around in the water. The sun is setting and people are starting to get ready for the long day we have tomorrow.

I laugh when I see Maisy jump on Finnick's back, trying to push him in the water after he just pushed Caspian.

I finish up with the last few dishes and then call out to the three most important people in my life.

"Guys! Come on, it's getting late! We need to go to bed!" I yell out to them. They all respond by yelling that they will be there in a second.

I just smile and shake my head and turn to the kitchen island and wipe off the counter. I hear footsteps running up the stairs and I turn to see Maisy running in the house with her feet all covered in sand and her hair dripping.

Finnick and Caspian are close behind her. "Guys, you just got so much sand on the floor. I just swept it." I say, putting my hands on my hips.

Maisy runs up to me and jumps. I catch her before she falls to the floor and she clings on to me. "Don't be such a party pooper, Cori, it's just a little sand." She says.

"Yeah, just a little sand." Finnick chimes in. I give him a small glare and look back at Maisy.

"You're getting a little too tall for me to hold you anymore. You are up to my belly button now. I think Finny should hold you and take you to bed." She nods, smiling and pushes herself off me and goes into Finnicks arms where he takes her upstairs.

Caspian comes and walks over to me and leans against the counter. "How do you feel about tomorrow?" I ask him.

"I'm scared. What if they pick my name?" He asks.
