The sound of the crashing waves and the sound of faraway laughter fills my ears as I sit on the beach swing I got for my birthday. Cody listened to what I told him a while ago and finally built me a swing so I could sit down and watch from the beach more comfortably.

I smile as I watch Caspian, Ara, Finnick, and Maisy play out in the ocean. The past months haven't been too eventful. The most that were on Tv were Katniss and Peeta because they were the 'star crossed' lovers.

Things have been different though. Finnick and I can feel it. Ever since the two of them tricked the Capitol more and more districts have been rebelling. Snow has spoken to me multiple times about it and says he has a plan to fix it. I don't know what that means and I don't think I want to.

"Cori!" Casp yells from the ocean. "Why aren't you coming in?"

"I just don't want to come in today." I yell back. I can see him roll his eyes from here and turn back around to hang out with Ara.

I just smile and lay my head back letting the sun cover my face in warmth. This swing has been the best thing that has ever been given to me. It allows me to have peace from the never ending voices in my head.

I hear footsteps walking up to the swing. It's a perk you learn after you win the games. You can feel when someone is walking near you. It's like a sixth sense. "What do you want?" I ask, turning to look at Finnick.

He smiles at me and moves towards me. He nods his head toward the ocean signaling me to stand up. I stand up and he sits down where I was and then he pulls me to sit down on his lap.

"What's up with you?" He asks, rubbing my arm.

I sigh and lean into him. His bathing suit shorts still wet from the water are getting the bottom of my bathing suit wet. "I don't know." I say. "It's just that after everything that's been going on I just feel so overwhelmed and I don't know why."

"That is perfectly valid." He says, rubbing my arm. "You know if you ever need help you can always come to me. We're forever and always." He says, mumbling into my hair.
