I wake up to movement underneath my head. I look up and see Finnick shifting around, trying to get comfortable. I smile when I see how relaxed he looks right now. The only time I get to see him fully relaxed and not worrying about anything is when he is sleeping.

I quietly slip out of bed and move to the bathroom to take a shower. I let the hot water run down my back as I think about what today is going to look like.

Today is the first day out of the three for training. I can tell that most are just going to sit out or not show up. Due to Haymitch's plan, I won't be able to sit around all day. Not that I want too.

District 4 is the only none-career district that has kept up with training. What I mean by district 4, I mean me, Finnick, and Caspian. I have a feeling that today and the coming days are just going to be days for all the old friends to catch up.

I turn off the water and step out of the shower with a towel wrapped around me. I walk back out into the bedroom and walk over to the closet that has our training outfits in it.

There are multiple layers to the outfit, but I choose to wear the black bra and black cropped leggings. While I'm changing I look over to the bed when I hear Finnick start to move around.

"Morning." I say, pulling on my leggings.

"Mornin', love." Finnick mumbles, tossing the blanket off of him. He sits up, rubbing his eyes and then moves toward me.

He wraps his arms around my waist and buries his head in my neck. I lean into his touch, taking in this small moment we get to have before today. "You should go get ready." I whisper.
Finn hums and moves away from me and into the bathroom. I sit down at the small vanity that is in the room and pull my hair into two french braids that go into a high ponytail.

Instead of waiting in the room for Finnick to finish, I walk out into the hallway that leads to the living and dining room. When I step into the living room I see Caspian, Cody, and Winnie already sitting at the table eating.

I sit down beside Casp and throw some bacon and waffles on my plate. "How do you feel?" Caspian asks.

"Tired." I say, pushing a waffle bite in my mouth. "Do I really have to go make friends with her?" I ask Cody, my mouth is still full.
