Two people are down. The two girls in the careers were shot. Caspian is still okay. He looks around and spots the two people in the trees. He looks between the water and the trees.
His eyes move back and forth as he watches the two boys help the girls. He must know that there are only eight people left. He watches as the tributes from 12 restring their bows get ready to shoot.
I watch as Caspian jumps into the river making the tributes miss their shots. The river rushes around him and pulls him with the current.
Everything is lost. Visuals. They can't see where he is, but they know he is alive. I can't move my body. It's like I'm stuck and I can't do anything about it.
A hand is placed on my shoulder. I turn and see Finnick. I get up from my chair and wrap my arms around him. "He chose the only way out. It was smart." He says.
"He could get sick. His body isn't used to the cold. The coldest it gets in 4 is maybe 50 degrees." I say.
"He is strong. He'll make his way out of the river and when he makes it out we will send him everything we can." Finnick says, rubbing my back.
I sigh and turn around to watch the screen. The careers are still alive and going after the district 12 tributes. Finnick and I sit down in our chairs. I watch the vitals I have on my screen. The only thing that is different is the heart rate that is increasing by the second.
I look up to see that the screen has changed. It is a picture of the river pretty far away from where Caspian was just a little bit ago. The thing is that there is no one on the screen.
I try to see if there is anything going on or if there is anyone walking into frame, but nothing.
All of the sudden a hand pops out from the water. I hold my breath. This has to be Caspian. Who else jumped into the water? Another hand comes on to the snow covered ground.
The person pulls themselves out of the water. I see Caspian pull himself up and fall on to the snow.
