The water surrounds me as I jump into the water. I can just hope that there isn't anything lurking around in the water. Finnick and I are probably the fastest and strongest swimmers here, so I will be one of the first people to the cornucopia.

There are strips of rock that remind me so much of home, but I decide to just swim the entire way to the cornucopia. It would be faster just to keep swimming. So many things could go wrong when running on the strips of rock. I've learned from experience.

When I climb up on land I can't see Finnick, so I hope he is on the other side. I start to rummage through all of the weapons. I grab 2 belts full of throwing knives and a dagger that I shove in my shoe. I look around and still see no sign of Finnick.

Someone grabs my shoulder and pulls me down on the ground. My head hits the rock and sends a throbbing throughout it. I look up and see the man from district 5 standing above me. "Damn. Of course you men go after people you think are easy targets." I say, standing up. "Too bad for you."

I took a sword from the rack that was behind me. I take the sword and bring it to his side. He yelps in pain and grabs at his side and starts to swing the machete at me aimlessly. I kick him in the chest and push him down on the ground. I pin his hands over his head and smirk.

"Too bad that guys like you think taking a girl off guard will get you anywhere." I say before taking the sword and driving it into his chest.

I take the machete that is lying limp in his hand and shove it into a sheath that was at the cornucopia and throw it over my back. I look around and still see no sign of Finnick anywhere. "Finnick!" I yell.

"Delia!" I hear him yell back.

I run around the cornucopia and crash into a hard figure. I grab the machete from my back, getting ready to fight, but I look up to see Finnick standing in front of me. The both of us are breathing hard as we have our very short reunion. "Where's Katniss?" I ask.

"She's over on the other side holding people back. Where is Peeta?" He asked me.

I look around and don't find him on his platform. "He was just there." I mumble to myself. I suddenly see blonde hair pop out from underneath the water. "Shit. I know where he is. Go get Katniss and meet me over there." I say, pointing to where I see Peeta struggling against another tribute.
