I couldn't go back to bed so I stayed watch for the rest of the night. Peeta went to bed after a while and Finnick ended up spending the rest of the night with me. Everyone had started to wake up and I was getting a little tired, but I couldn't let myself fall asleep again.
Katniss just woke up and Johanna is still asleep. A parachute had just landed and it was bread from district 3 yet again. It just means we are getting closer and closer to the day we get to leave.
All of us portion out the bread and sit around in a tiny circle. I'm next to Finnick and Katniss and Peeta are next to each other. Beetee is off on his own at the top of the circle, playing with his wire. I can feel the atmosphere shift. From both Beetee and Katniss.
"Come on. Let me teach you how to swim." Katniss says, helping Peeta up.
The two of them walk away and head to the water. "She isn't gonna teach him how to swim." I say to Finnick.
"Yeah, they're probably planning to leave soon." Finnick says. "Beetee, if you have a plan make sure they can't go off with each other."
Beetee just silently nods his head as he keeps playing around with the wire. "He still has the floating device on." I say, pointing out the obvious. "She isn't even helping him." We spend some more time sitting around while Beetee does whatever he can to make up a plan. The funny thing is that Snow hasn't even figured it out. I'll give him the fact that he is a clever man, but not observant enough to figure out that rebels have been right under his nose.
"I got it." Beetee says, interrupting the silence.
Peeta and Katniss have already started making their way back up to us. "Got what?" Peeta asks.
"A plan." Beetee says. The younger two come sit over by us as Beetee is talking. "I think our next job is to kill Brutus and Enobaria. I don't think they will attack us openly again. They're outnumbered." "Do you think they know about the clock?" Katniss asks.
"If they don't they will soon." I mumble. I stand up before Beetee starts telling us about his plan. "I'm gonna get Jo up. She'll be pissed if she isn't a part of it."
