It's been a couple of weeks since Maisy has gotten sick. It took a while for her to get back to normal, but she finally feels a lot better and is back to volunteering with Dr.Walter.

I'm still so grateful for him. I honestly would have fallen into a stupor if I didn't have someone tell me she was okay. I can't deal with having one of my siblings being sick. Even when they are sick it's normally just a cold. This one was so much worse and it hurt me to see her so sick.

I'm just glad that she is back to normal.

Even though today is a normal day, tomorrow is the reaping. I know I'm not eligible to be reaped anymore, but I still have my siblings to think about. Caspian is still eligible. I just hope I did enough again this year to not have him be reaped.

Finnick is coming home from the Capitol today. It was another one of his clients and he had to stay an extra day because Snow wanted him at a party. I was upset when he called and told me that, but I couldn't do anything about it.

It's hard to fall asleep without him near me, but I have found that sleeping with Maisy and Caspian by my side helps. I decided to make Finnick a big dinner for tonight though.

I'm currently out shopping getting the food that I need to cook for dinner. I had Caspian invite Ara over because I wanted Finnick to meet her. I'll give him a little speech before she comes over so he doesn't say anything embarrassing.

I picked out some crab and lobster for tonight's dinner. I walk to the register where I see the same owner that has been here for years. "Hello, Gary." I say in a chipper voice.

"Hello, Cordelia. How have you been?" He asks, a bright smile crossing his face. He has known me since I was around 10 and had to come here for groceries for my parents.

"I've been doing good. How's Marjorie been doing? I know Maisly has been going over to your house." I say, helping him pack some of the groceries. Marjorie and Gary are pretty old. Like not to be mean, but they're in their late 70's and Gary is still working. That just shows how poor even the richest districts can be.

"She's not doing well. I know seeing Maisy helps her bad days be a little better though." He says. I know this is a hard topic for him. "Has Finnick popped the question yet?" He asks, changing the subject.
