The morning sunlight spilled into the cozy kitchen, illuminating the space where Yeonjun and Beomgyu stood side by side, preparing to make pizza. Beomgyu, ever the mischievous one, couldn't resist the urge to playfully tease Yeonjun, his partner in culinary crime. As they began to pour flour into the mixing bowl, Beomgyu couldn't help but playfully swipe a handful of cheese, sneaking it into his mouth with a mischievous grin. Yeonjun chuckled at his antics, shaking his head in mock disapproval.
However, Beomgyu's playful antics didn't stop there. With each ingredient they added, he couldn't resist stealing a taste. With a playful sigh, Yeonjun couldn't help but shake his head at Beomgyu's antics. "Beomgyu, you're worse than a kid in a candy store," he chided, a fond smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "At this rate, there won't be any ingredients left for the pizza!"
Beomgyu flashed him an innocent grin, feigning innocence as he popped another piece of tomato into his mouth. "But hyung, how can I resist when everything looks so delicious? Besides I'm hungry, my belly hurts," he said with a pout, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
Yeonjun chuckled at Beomgyu's adorable pout, unable to resist his playful charm. "Alright, alright," he relented, shaking his head with a smile. "But let's save some ingredients for the pizza, okay? We don't want it to be just a dough."
Beomgyu nodded eagerly, his grin widening as he reached for another ingredient. "Got it, hyung! I promise I'll behave... mostly," he added with a mischievous twinkle in his eye, causing Yeonjun to shake his head and hide his smile at his playful nature. He liked him much more like this, when he was being himself again, all cheerful and annoying.
As they worked, a comfortable silence enveloped them, broken only by the occasional rustle of ingredients and the sound of Yeonjun's soft humming. There was a sense of ease between them, a quiet understanding that flowed effortlessly as they moved in sync.
Then suddenly, Beomgyu's mischievous voice broke the quiet. "Oh, hyung, you've got something on your face," Beomgyu said with a sly grin, pointing to Yeonjun's cheek where a dusting of flour had settled.
Yeonjun looked at him suspiciously, knowing Beomgyu's penchant for mischief. "Nice try, Beomgyu," he replied, but before he could react, Beomgyu's hand darted forward, smearing a handful of flour across his face.
Caught off guard, Yeonjun looked surprised while Beomgyu laughed, getting amused by the glare Yeonjun shot him, "Alright, you asked for it," Yeonjun suddenly said, reaching for a pinch of flour to retaliate.
Laughing, Beomgyu let out a playful scream and darted away, his laughter echoing through the kitchen. Yeonjun, fueled by playful determination, gave chase, their laughter blending together in the air as they raced around the kitchen island.
"Come back here, you little troublemaker!" Yeonjun called out between laughter, his voice filled with mock indignation as he pursued Beomgyu.
But Beomgyu was quick, dodging around corners and ducking behind furniture, always managing to stay one step ahead. As they circled the kitchen, their laughter rang out, filling the room with warmth and joy. It was a simple moment of carefree happiness, a fleeting respite from the worries of the world outside.
