lonely boy pt.4

 "I don't want to say much, but Hyunjin was cute from the start, but that makes him even cuter.." Minho spoke and everyone agreed. 

After Jinnie fell asleep, the seven talked in a pleasant tone about what to do next, since they all agreed that they wouldn't let Jinnie go anymore. During the conversation, Jinnie woke up and immediately had Chan's full attention. He rubbed his eyes and continued sucking on his pacifier, not knowing that there was a person looking at him with loving eyes. He started coughing and so he got the attention of the others. 

"Oh.. hey Jinnie.. did you sleep well?" Minho asked softly. Jinnie looked at him for a while and then nodded. "D'innie pway?" He asked and looked at the others with his big eyes. "Jinnie can play, but wouldn't Jinnie rather get better, huh?" Chan asked. So now he had the baby's attention. "D'innie icky.." he then whined and started to cry. 

Chan took him in his arms and tried to calm him down, while Jisung went out again and looked for children's medicine, hoping his parents didn't throw away what he bought. Luckily not, so he grabbed the fever reducer and all the other children's medicine and walked back into the living room. 

He knelt in front of Chan and Jinnie and wiped the tears from his face. "Stop crying okay? Sungie, Channie, Minnie, Binnie, Innie, Lino and Lixie help Jinnie get better okay?" Jinnie nodded and looked at Jisung with his big, innocent eyes. And so, with the help of the others, Jisung nursed the boy back to health. Hyunjin came out of his headspace a few days after he was healthy again and only then did the real fun begin. 

Hyunjin freaked out when he recovered and realized he could barely remember anything. He quickly realized that he had probably slipped into his headspace. This was something he wanted to avoid, but now there is no turning back, but he still decided to avoid his friends. However, they weren't stupid and understood straight away what was going on and, above all, why he was avoiding them, which is why they waited for the lunch break to confront him.

Luckily for the seven boys, lunch break came surprisingly quickly. They left their things behind and followed Hyunjin out of the classroom. He speed walked outside and sat down on one of the benches that were standing around in the break yard. Minutes later they stood in front of him and when the younger noticed them he wanted to escape, but Chan thwarted his plan. "Please stay here.. we don't want to hurt you, we just want to talk to you.. please Hyunie.." he pleaded and since Hyunjin and Jinnie somehow had a weakness for Chan, he stayed there. 

"We'll keep it short okay?.. You don't have to leave us because we now know that you're an age regressor.. Hyunie.. we still like and love you the way you are. That all makes you even more cuter than you already are. We want to be there for you, look after Jinnie -if you give us permission- and would give you a roof over your head so that you don't have to live in the park like you did before.. What do you say? We really don't mean any harm to you." 

He stared at Chan with glassy eyes, searching for any negative emotion, but he found none. Everything he saw was so loving, worried and hopeful. Even in the eyes of the others he didn't find anything negative, only then did he understand that there were still people on this planet who had a heart and really meant well for you, which is why he nodded slowly and the eyes of the others lit up, so he knew that he had made the right decision. Chan pulled him into his arms and the others followed suit. "Let's go eat before break is over." Changbin then said and so the eight of them walked into the cafeteria. If the six of them noticed that Chan and Hyunjin were walking hand in hand, they remained silent for the time being. 

They got something to eat, sat down and started asking Hyunjin about Jinnie, who became very shy when the seven showed so much interest in his little side. One question that left him completely speechless was the one Chan asked him. "Hyunie? Do you only have this purple pacifier for Jinnie? Or do you have other things?" 

Hyunjin remained silent and looked at his hand, which was still in Chan's large and warm one. The youngest's silence was enough and everyone had their answer. "Can we buy you things? Like a baby bottle or sippy cup? More pacifiers, a cozy blanket or things like that?" Speechless, he looked from Chan to the others, who also looked at him questioningly. 

"No.." He murmured and started playing with Chan's fingers. "Hyunie... Why not?.." Minho asked gently and looked at the younger boy. "Don't want that y'all spend money on me.. Jinnie.." he mumbled again. This time it was Seungmin who spoke. "Okay.. let me summarize this.. you actually want things like that, maybe not the ones Channie listed, but definitely SOMETHING.. although you don't want us to spend our money on Jinnie, did I understand that correctly? " Hyunjin nodded and pouted. 

"Aww, come on Hyunie. We can all look together too.. and you can choose stuff Jinnie likes and don't worry about the rest.. come on.. Jinnie can't feel happy with just one pacifier.." Jisung said outraged. There was silence for a long time until Hyunjin sighed and then, for better or worse, nodded. Jeongin, who was sitting on the other side of him, hugged him with a big grin. And at that moment too, Hyunjin knew that it was the right answer. Little by little it became clear to him that the seven of them would do anything to make him happy, but also to make sure that he was safe and, most importantly, had a roof over his head.

First of all, i'm sorry for not updating the last two days.. yesterday.. i had a rough day so i wasn't in the mindset to write and wasn't in the mood either and on friday i fell kind of asleep after i came home from work haha.
