They needed distance and enough time to think and maybe they'd find Jeongin and be able to talk to him, but first they need to calm down and have to think through all that.

one week later

It's been a week now since Jeongin ran away, Chan, Minho and Changbin had the argument with Hyunjin, Jisung, Felix and Seungmin. The seven didn't say a word to each other and it slowly started to damage their relationship. Hyunjin, Jisung, Felix and Seungmin, however, were still looking for Jeongin and as fate would have it, they found a small fennec fox near their hotel, in the somewhat quieter and secluded park behind a tree. "Innie..." they whispered and the fox's eyes opened immediately. 

However, they didn't get the reaction they wanted from him, because Jeongin just looked at them, he didn't move an inch, which aroused concern in the other five. "Innie... is everything okay?" Jisung asked and sat down in front of the fox hybrid, but the fox just looked at him like he had been doing the whole time. 

Tears began to gather in Jisung's eyes, but he didn't give up. He gently picked up Jeongin, who was hanging almost lifeless in his arms, and looked at the others with tear-filled eyes. "We have to take him home... now... but not to the hotel... we have to go back to the three of them whether we want to or not... we have to help him..." He said with a shaky voice. 

The only thing that happened was that Felix, Seungmin and Hyunjin ran away, back to the hotel and packed their bags. After checking out, they ran to Jisung, who still had the seemingly lifeless body of the fennec fox in his arms. They took the next best taxi and drove back to the others, where Seungmin unlocked the door and they marched in. 

Chan, Minho and Changbin who heard this stood up immediately and were relieved when they saw the five and then you could see the shame in their eyes, the shame, the realization of what they had done when they saw Jeongin so lifeless in Jisung's arms. "W-we have to h-help him.." Jisung said and looked at the three with his watery eyes while the first tears ran down his cheeks. 

Chan walked to Jisung and took Jeongin from his arms until he turned to Minho and Changbin and the two understood what to do without words being spoken. While Chan and Minho went into the living room with Jeongin, Changbin took the five into another room, they fell into each other's arms and only then did they start to cry, Changbin just held them in his arms, afraid that they would leave again. 

Meanwhile, Chan and Minho sat in front of Jeongin, who just looked at them. "Innie... come on, change into your human form..." Chan pleaded and gently stroked the fox's head. Minho, who was sitting next to him, looked at him just as hopefully, but there was also so much remorse in the eyes of both of them and Jeongin saw this, he saw it. He also saw the broken look on Hyunjin, Jisung, Felix and Seungmin's face and that's exactly why he gathered his last strength and changed into his human form. 

"Innie..." Minho and Chan said in unison and took the boy in their arms. "Please forgive us... we didn't want to get rid of you... but we only realized afterwards what we had done... please forgive us..." Chan pleaded and in response Jeongin put his arms around Chan's neck and his head on Chan's shoulder. "Innie... Innie, you have to stay awake, please... we can do this... but you have to stay awake..." Chan said desperately, tears now running down his cheeks. Minho stood up and called an ambulance. 

It arrived within the next five minutes and examined the hybrid boy until they felt he was stable enough and drove him straight to the hospital. They knew something that they didn't tell the boys, not yet, because he still had a small chance. When they arrived at the hospital, they didn't have to wait long, a doctor came up to them, not knowing that he was about to leave them a sad message. "Hello boys... are you here for Yang Jeongin?" He asked, when the two nodded, he looked at them so sadly. "Please follow me..." And so the two did, they sat down in a kind of office opposite the doctor and then came what they didn't want to hear.
