not just a fennec fox

It was a normal day for the seven boys named Bang Chan, Lee Minho, Seo Changbin, Hwang Hyunjin, Han Jisung, Lee Felix and Kim Seungmin. After a long hard work, they finally had two weeks off and enjoyed it outside in the beautiful summer weather. Little did they know that a little fox had made its home somewhere in the bushes in their garden, as the seven posed no danger to him because they were practically never there. However, the little fox was scared to death when he heard the loud voices, where it was once so quiet. He stood up and peeked out of his hiding place in the bushes and then he saw the handsome young mens playing football and having the time of their lives. 

With sparkling eyes, he watched the seven boys until suddenly the ball came dangerously fast in his direction. He moved to the side and stared fearfully at the ball and then at the approaching voice. He retreated further into the bush in the hope that the young man would not discover him and that he could remain hidden there. The young man felt around in the bushes until he came into contact with the ball, took it out and ran away again. The little fox was relieved and continued to watch them, every now and then the ball landed in the bushes, which is why the fox retreated away so that the boys wouldn't notice or see him in there. 

Towards evening, they stopped playing and simply sat on their terrace and ate together, they talked and laughed, the fox watched all of this until he had to look away, otherwise he would make himself known, but his nose hit the soft leaves of the bush, which made him sneeze, he turned around, shocked and frightened, and watched as the seven boys looked at each other and then through their garden. "Hello? Is anyone there?" asked one of the seven, but the fox didn't make a sound. 

The seven stood up and walked back to the meadow and looked around, while the fox walked slowly and carefully backwards, but he stepped on a branch, which caused more noises and thus spread even more panic in him and the others. "That came from here..." said another. Together they walked towards the bush in which the little fox had been hiding for so long and they never paid attention to him or noticed him. He continued to go backwards, with the aim of getting out of the bush before the seven saw him, but he bumped into something behind him and froze in place. 

"Oh my... look..." probably whispered the boy the fox bumped into. The others came a little way around the bush and also saw the little fox, who stood there as if frozen. Out of the corner of his eye he saw that the seven slowly sat down and waited. The fox himself slowly turned around and looked at the young mens fearfully. "Channie... he's really scared..." said another boy, the young man who went by the name 'Channie', took a closer look at the fox. With slow movements he stretched out his hand and waited to see what the fox did. "It's a fennec fox... a little fennec fox... I wonder what he was doing here in our bush..." he murmured. 

The little fennec fox looked at the hand for a while until he slowly sniffed it and walked a little closer to the boy. Slowly 'channie' put his hand on the fox's head and began to stroke it gently, which made the fox walk completely to the man and let him stroke him. The others watched the whole thing until the fennec fox's eyes landed on them. He slowly moved away from the boy named 'Channie' and walked towards the person next to him, sniffed him and let himself be stroked too. 

"Can we keep him... please..." begged the boy in whose lap the fox was lying to be stroked. He yawned, just before falling asleep, until one of the others noticed the collar on him. They didn't look at it, though, because the fennec fox was now sleeping peacefully and they didn't have the heart to wake the little fox just to look at the collar. And while he was sleeping peacefully, the others looked into the bush where they found him and found some old and rather broken blankets. 

"He seems to have been sitting in there for a while, because there were these blankets in there. I mean, we've hardly been in the garden or at home in the last few months... he seemed to have found peace here... but let's clean up first and go into the house with the little creature." With a simple grumble, the others all got up and helped clear the garden table, while the last one of them sat calmly in the grass and continued to gently stroke the sleeping fox. 

When the others had finished clearing the table and came back out, they looked at their younger boyfriend, who was sitting in the grass with the fox and stroking him until they went to him and helped him to put the little fox in his arms so that they could go into the house with the little creature. Once there, the boy let the fox lie on his blankets, which they laid over some pillows on the couch. 

There he slept peacefully while the others went into the kitchen and continued to talk about all sorts of things, not knowing that they don't have a normal fennec fox in their house. But they should find this out soon, well at least understand what hybrid actually means. Because this whole thing is still very rare these days and so there is a lot to come their way, but when they find out what the little fox really is, will they keep him or kick him out? 

We hopefully will see how this all develops and if the seven boys are keeping the little fox hybrid or not.
