whats a mate? pt. 4

Hyunjin nodded and walked with the... with his sleeping omega to his home, hoping on one side, that if he doesn't panic when he wakes up, even if the others are already there. 

With Felix in his arms he arrived at home, there he tried to get his key out of his pocket without moving Felix too much, he managed to do this after a few tries and so he unlocked the door, entered and closed it with his foot behind him. He walked into the living room where he laid the boy down and freed him of his shoes and jacket. When that was done, he covered him up and put the said things into the hallway where he also took off his own shoes and jacket. Hyunjin went back into the living room, where he took out his phone and wrote in the group chat with the others that he had arrived home. 

One and a half hour later he received a message from the six that they were now on their way to him with the backpacks. And so he had to wait until the doorbell rang or someone knocked. Meanwhile, he went into the kitchen and started preparing something to eat. While he was washing the vegetables, there was a loud knock on the door. Hyunjin put everything away, dried his hands and walked to the front door, he opened it and there was none other than his friends standing there, he opened the door wider and let them in, and just as he was about to walk away, Minho grabbed him. 

"Where is the little one? Is he still sleeping?" He asked Hyunjin. "He's in the living room and yes he's still sleeping." He said and finally went back into the kitchen to continue. Minutes passed until the kitchen filled up and everyone, including Felix, sat at the table watching Hyunjin and talking. Felix, however, said nothing and was not involved in the conversation either, which is why he stood up and clung to the older boy's back and took a deep breath of his rainy scent.

Hyunjin tensed up for a moment, but relaxed again pretty quickly. Minutes later Felix whispered "Shouldn't we just order something... I-I know you don't know me and all that... but you don't have to cook for us now..." Hyunjin turned around with Felix's grip on his waist and looked down at him, gave him a kiss on the forehead and murmured a simple "You're a genius! But we just have to eat the vegetables now.." Felix nodded and broke away from the older boy. 

He put said vegetables on the table and took out his phone, which he handed to Felix after a few minutes with the words "Pick what you want and then just give it to the next person, okay?" With a slight nod, he took the phone in his smaller hands and tapped on the device a few times uncertainly. When he was finished, he passed it to the left. Said person ordered his food and so it went until it got back to Hyunjin, he looked through the list and when he got to the end he only saw a simple salad, he looked up and stared at Felix. 

"Come to me, please." He said gently and pointed to the chair next to him, he showed Felix the salad and then asked "Are you sure that's all you want? You can choose whatever you want, I promise.." The others looked at each other slightly, knowing what Hyunjin is talking about because they had all seen the salad that Felix wanted to order. "Hey.. look at me, we can leave the room and then you can tell me what's going on okay?" With a still uncertain nod, Felix followed Hyunjin back into the living room. "So...why just the salad, hm? Is there something about you just  wanting a salad?...no offense, but you're surprisingly light...maybe you're having some trouble with that?" He asked cautiously. 

Felix shook his head and started to cry, and for some reason he poured his whole heart out to Hyunjin, so the salad also made a bit of sense to Hyunjin, if you have little to no meals for years, that is of course clear. He reassured Felix and wiped away his tears, then looked deep into his eyes and said "We're not having salad okay? You find something else and you don't have to eat everything, you can always eat the rest later or tomorrow, are we making a deal out of that?" He asked at the end, Felix thought about it and then nodded, Hyunjin then smiled gently at him and handed him his phone again after removing the salad. 

When Felix then chose chicken, Hyunjin was happy and finished the order and with Felix by the hand, he walked back to the kitchen where he told the others that the food should be there in about half an hour. And so another conversation arose in which they questioned Felix to a certain extent about himself. Of course, the panic attacks and so on came up and only after he told them what had happened to his parents did they to 100% understand the real reason behind it.

Of course also why he was so panicked after smelling Hyunjin's scent. After this emotional story, Felix landed on Hyunjin's lap, who made no move to let go of him for a while. The food came, Jeongin stood up and took it while Jisung got cutlery for everyone, Hyunjin meanwhile distributed the food to everyone with Felix's help until only his own and the younger's were left.

"You know you don't have to eat everything, you're welcome to try some of my food and I'm sure the others won't mind, okay? No one will say anything since they know I'll be checking on you. So just eat as much as you can, yea?" Felix nodded and so they started to eat, in fact the other six offered Felix to try something from them and so he also shared his food with the six, with Hyunjin seven. And in the end, he had eaten more than he thought he could and Hyunjin was proud of it, but he still left it without a comment.
