—|keeping secrets|—

Aera had somehow managed to gather every single Renegade member onto the couches. Just close to noon, but everyone looked like morning zombies that hadn't gotten sip of coffee. But that was mostly Cauis and Adeline from working a little too late last night.

Everyone would much rather be doing:

Elsa would've rather been binging the entire Terminator series again.

Cauis would've immediately ran off into his room to read up his book on The War of 1812 again.

Issac would've rather be spending a nice quick round of practice swordsmanship.

Adeline would've rather be asked to name Al of the elements on the periodic table.

Alejandro without a question would've been playing the Totoro song to annoy everyone (when he was doing absolutely nothing).

Mason would've rather liked to listen to Sam Cooke.

Katherine would've loved to practice some battle moves with Elsa.

Lyris would've rather been okay with watching comedy or romance movies.

But here they were, suffering another trust exercise

Aera's hair was perfectly swooped onto one side, her eyes shiny young and bright. Perfectly fitting her long black dress and simple looks. She may have been in her thirties, but looked a little younger.

But dread was filled in the room. It was another trust exercise Monday, suggested by Admiral Paris to deepen trust. It was easy to loathe these days.

"My name is Aera," Aera clapped her hands twice, "I work as a therapist," clapped twice again, "And I hope we can do this game."

Staring off the new game. Clap twice after your sentence. State your name, next was a fact everyone knew, and a hope or secret.

Her gaze locked onto Lyris, who scrambled to sit up straight. She wasn't even expected to be called upon first. Her eyes looked from Alejandro, who usually went first. He just casually shrugged and slid his straw into his boba.

Lyris struggled to find her words, "uh......my name is Lyris," clapped twice soon after, "I'm considering to apply for a job in Starfleet," clapped twice again, "But for right now.....I like supporting you guys."

Cauis then took his turn, "my name is Cauis," clapped twice, "I'm a history nerd with no polish for my brains," clapped twice again, "and I'd like to figure out why Section 32 targeted Recreations."

Mason froze up, sucking in a breath. Hiding his worry with his mug in front of his face for a few moments. His nerves had kickstarted into fear and worry.
