(Amaya Mason pov.)

After being finished the last machines in my way, I swipe the remaining water off my fingers.
Beside some scratches and ash on my shirt, I'm not actually hurt.
Those junk drones are all on the floor, motionless and scattered across the plaza because of my ability.

Seriously, Amateurs.

Suddenly, a gunshot gets fired, slicing through the air right next to me.
For a moment, my ears begin to ring, though it passes just as quick.

What the-

I turn around in big surprise, seeing a woman with dark skin and white hair:

"Whoops, missed.*smiles* Doctor Snyder, at your service. Now, if you would kindly surrender-"

"I'm not familiar with that term." I flex my fingers.

So this is her, the doctor Dhalia warned us about.
She knows the code.
Looks like she's aware that the drones won't hold me back.
Bringing out the big guns, are we now?

Doctor Snyder points the gun at me:
"Oh, really? I can finish this very quick. Summon more water, I dare you."

There's no way I'll be able to attack her with lots of water at once.
She'll shoot me on sight, which is why I have to be quick.
Come on, you have the best aim- take advantage of that.

"Alright, why not."

I use my ability to send a single drop of water flying towards Snyder, knocking the gun out of her hand, creating a hole in it.
Snyder looks back at me, shocked.

Yes, she's caught off guard. This is my chance.

Following, I practically blow her away with a slight wave. Snyder lies on the ground, struggling to stand up.

I smirk:
"Want my advice? Don't underestimate your opponent."

Ready to send her unconscious, a chill runs up my spine as she laughs out of the blue:
"I can only agree."

And before I can even react, she twists her hand, forcing me to fall down on my knees.

Damn it-!

My body feels awfully wrong and tense all over.

Snyder stands up and adds:
"Since you are so smart, I'm sure you know what a biokinesis ability is."

My eyes widen as Snyder twists her hand more, making me groan with pain.
I can feel each of my cells, the way she tears them apart, slowly but surely.

I'm losing my breath!
Unless she stops using her ability, I might actually die like this...

"All of this makes me wonder... if your group is here, then that Harris boy and agent 141 shouldn't be far away, right?"

She ponders and stops using her ability.
Leaning on my hands, I gasp and try to calm down.
I have to take her out, but I'm too roughed up.

Snyder holds her hand to her ear pod, instructing:
"The little Harris descendant is here, be on lookout and eliminate him and anyone else who dares to help.
You know what to do with Dever."

They planned to kill Ben as well?
And what about Dhalia?
Both cases won't end up good if I won't do something!

"No-!" I shout angrily as I try to stand up and summon more water.

Snyder twists her hand lazily, making me fall down again.
This time I'm completely unable to move at all, everything hurts, it's too much to bear.
With her ability, she stiffens my muscles and I scream as she continues where she left off.

This can't be it, right?
What will happen to the others if I don't make it?
