My Sweet Mermaid

~Chapter 6~

+Mel's POV+

I heard Justin yelling. I turned around and he came towards us.

"We have to talk now." He said. Me and Destiny looked at each other confused then back at him.

"Okay?" We said confused. We got out and changed. We went inside and sat on the couch.

"Why were you yelling?" I asked.

"Two girls were here in the house." He said.

"What?!" We yelled.

"Were they-" Destiny got interrupted.

"No they are humans." Justin said and we sighed.

"How did they get inside?" I asked.

"I don't know. They were standing at the back door and saw you in your mermaid forms. When I yelled at them, they ran out the door." Justin said.

"So they know now?" I asked.

" Yes. Did anyone follow you back from the mall?" He asked.

"NO, we just went shopping and left." Destiny said.

"Did you run into anyone?" Justin Asked.

"There was this one girl who was staring at Mel like she was in a trance but besides that, no." Destiny explained.

"Is this true?" Justin then looked at me.

"Yeah, but she wasn't a vampire and neither was her friend. Her friend was trying to snap her out of it, but it looked like I was familiar to her. I don't know. I didn't feel like someone was following me and usually I have that feeling and cling to Destiny." I explained and Justin nodded.

"Be careful when going out from now on. We can never be sure about who is watching." Justin said in a serious tone.

"Ok bro." I said. Justin was just about to say something but his phone dinged and he checked it.

"Seems like we are going to a party in two days." Justin said.

"Um excuse me. No." I said.

"Yes, you guys have no choice since someone came into our house. You guys aren't safe so you're coming with me. Adam invited me to a party." Justin said.

"I don't do parties." I crossed my arms.

"I do, party time bitches." Destiny jumped up. I just rolled my eyes.

"Of course you would be happy to go partying." 

"Come on girl, you need to loosen up for a little. We will still be cautious, and we are on vacation. Let's have some fun." Destiny exclaimed.

"Fine whatever." I give up.

+Lili's POV+

We got to my secret hide out in the woods and went through the waterfall that leads to a cave with books, a bed and a couch. The usual bedroom or mini house accessory. We sat down on the couch.

"We just saw two mermaids. The one you were in a trance with is a-"

"Mermaid." I said still in shock.

"If she is your mate, you'll get killed along with her." Hannah said.

"I know but we don't know if it's me finding my mate. It is impossible for mermaid to be a vampire's mate." I said.

"No it's not. The war that happened a few centuries ago when we were young. The Silver Bay War." Hannah said. I looked at her.

"Yeah but that's just a story." I said.
