My Sweet Mermaid

~ Chapter 12 ~

I froze and my mind began racing with so many thoughts. Lili checked her phone as I hung up with Justin. 

"There are vampire attacks. I have to go home. Please don't leave the house. Everything with be okay, just stay with Destiny." Lili caressed my cheek and I nodded, slowly. She hugged me tight. I hugged her back, wanting to cry but kept myself together. We broke the hug and she gave me a quick kiss before leaving. I left into the house and locked the doors. I changed into Lili's clothes and washed the makeup off.

+Justin's POV+

I was getting fresh air by taking a walk along the beach a few minutes from the house until I got a call. I seen Dad's name.

"Hey Dad." 

"Justin, you guys have to stay at the beach house 'til further notice. We are under attack so do not come what so ever. Liddell Clan from the Atlantic Ocean attacked so please listen. That's an order."

"But Dad, I should be there. Ondina and Cece. They need to be protected. You guys need help." 

"No, son. Do not come home. Please stay there and protect your sister and Destiny. King Marsious is wanting Melony to marry his son. He doesn't know you whereabouts so it needs to stay like that. Please don't disobey me. I want you guys safe."

"Okay Dad. Be safe and I love you."

"I love you too."

I was about to dial Mel when I heard a terrifying scream. I ran to the scream to seen a girl getting held by a vampire. I closed my eyes and channeled the energy from the ocean. I felt the wind and water. I opened my eyes and sent the wind and water to the vampire. It flew into a building and I rushed to the girl taking off my shirt to stop the bleeding while calling 911. I looked to see her throat torn apart. 

I told the operator about a vampire attack and she told me an ambulance and police were on their way. After a while, the police came.

"Can you tell us what happened?" 

"I was about to call my sister when I heard a scream and I seen a vampire feeding on her. I used my powers to send water and wind to send the vampire into that building. I've been putting pressure on her wound but her throat is torn bad. She might not make it." I explained.

"Okay. Thank you sir and we will take it from here."

"Thank you, officer." I called Mel on the way back home. She picked up.

"Yes, Justin."

"Our palace is under attack."

"Then we have to go back home now to help them out. Ondina and Cece. Mom and Dad."

"No. Dad ordered us not to go. He wants us to stay here until time is right. He will keep us updated but you for sure can't go home because Liddell Clan attacked. King Marsious wants you to marry his son for power and money."

"Okay."

"I am on the way home. I'll see you soon. I love you."

"I love you too."

+Mel's POV+

I went to Destiny after my night routine and I started tearing up.

"Woah, what's wrong?" Destiny asked. I explained the conversation between me and Justin. Her eyes widened and she immediately hugged me.

"Everything is going to be okay, Mel. Your family is powerful. I know this situation will be under control." Destiny comforted me as I cried. When I calmed down, I heard a knock and I opened the door to see Justin shirtless and his hands covered in blood.

"Oh my god, your hands are bloody." I held his arm.

"I'm okay. There was a vampire attack and I used some of my powers to save her. She is in the hospital right now and I don't think she is going to make it because her throat was torn apart." Me and Destiny gasped in horror. 

"Yeah. I'm going to go take a shower." I hummed and he left while I closed the door.

+Justin's POV+

I got undressed and felt drained. I stepped into the shower and sighed at the heat. Everything went well until I got dizzy and held the wall. I put my head against the wall. 

"I used too much energy." I mumbled. I shook my head and finished my shower. I got dressed after drying off and went to knock on Mel's door 'til I collapsed against her door.

+Mel's POV+

I was laying in bed with Destiny while we were on our phones. We, all of a sudden, heard a thud against my door. We looked at each other, confused, before getting up to go to the door. As soon as I opened the door, I seen Justin on the floor. I panicked and fell on the floor, shaking him.

"Justin, wake up!" I kept calling out to him but nothing.

"We need to get him on the couch."

"He must have used way to much of his power that it drained him." I helped Destiny get him to his room. I moved his chair to the side and waited for him but nothing.

"It's been 2 hours and nothing. We normally wake up after like 45 minutes of being drained of energy." I was more worried than ever. Destiny came over and rubbed my back as I held Justin's hand. 

"He'll wake up. Just get some rest." I nodded and Destiny left to sleep. I stayed up a few more hours before placing my head on his bed.

"Why aren't you waking up?"
