+??? POV+

I stared at the palace before me with a grin. I jumped over the fence and landed. I stood up while putting the hood of my cloak on. I focused on the cloak's power and felt the shift. I walked towards the entrance Jaiden told me about. It was a fake sewage drain. I lifted it up and dropped down. I looked around while walking down the halls. I looked both ways and it was much bigger than I thought.

It smells of rat poisioning.

I made a disgusted face before making a turn. I kept walking and realized this was one giant prison maze.

Damn it!

I closed my eyes to focus on this Silas person.

"Silas." I spoke out with a whisper.

+Silas' POV+

I heard a voice as I was in the corner of the cell. I looked lightly at the cell.

Silas, you're free

I closed my eyes and shook my head to get the voice out.

"Get out of my head." I mumbled.

Silas

"Stop."

Silas

This voice kept repeating my name over and over. It was like a living nightmare. The voice was deep and terrifying. It was lurking in the shadows, taunting me. Making fun of me for being locked up in this cell, powerless.

"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" I growled while yelling.

"Shut it, Silas!" A guard said before tazing me. I screamed as I fell to the ground. Weak and Pathetic. I haven't had any blood in close to 2 weeks so I knew my time was coming up. I coughed and closed my eyes. I heard thuds and then an unlock sound. I couldn't open my eyes and I got the chains broken off of me. I build up the strength to finally open my eyes and I was met with a bright blood orange color. They lifted me up and I fainted.

I gasped as I woke up. I looked around and I was in a warehouse.

"You're up. Wasn't sure if I got you out on time." I looked over to see a man leaning against the door. He went towards me.

"Where am I?"

"You're hidden. No one will find you here."

"You're the one who broke me out?" He leaned down and I backed up.

"Yes. Perks of being a hybrid."

"H-hybrid?"

"Yes hybrid. The reason you're is I fed you human blood bags to get your strength back. You were close to death but I got you out in time. You've been out for the past 3 days. I really though you were dead for a second." He walked out the room. I got up and followed him.

"Who are you and what do you want from me?"

"We both want the same things, Silas. Power. We both can get that if you work with me. We can be dictators if this plan goes through without any issues."

"What plan?"

"S-silas." I turned to see him.

"You. You're with them." I went towards him but the guy placed his hand on my shoulder.

"He's my little puppet. He's been a great help to this plan but with you involved, we can rule this whole world. Have everyone beneath us. We can take over land and sea. You hold a deep grudge against Liliana. She gets everything while you're left with nothing but a cell." I listened carefully to what he is saying.

"I'm listening."

"So, what do you say? Join me in taking over the Sterling and Bluewater royal?" I smirked and looked at Jaiden while flashing my eyes.

"I'm in."

+Lili's POV+

I was in the meeting room with my parents once again. I stared at the table as the kings and queens talked about the news.

"1M reward to anyone who can find Silas Sterling!"

Where are you, Silas?

"Liliana, what do you think?" I looked up.

"Say it again. My apologies for being unfocused."

"Melony staying here for protection."

"Absolutely not, she could be at bigger risk. Silas knows this house like the back of his hand. If he found out she was staying here, then he would come after her. Whoever broke him out of his cell, is powerful. He has an ally and who knows what they are planning right now. I won't risk the Princess life living under a roof for the time being.

"She is stuck. Where will she go to protect herself? She can't go home and she can't stay here." I was stuck because Silas knows where the beach house is now.

"What if I bring her across the country?"

"What?!" Father spoke.

"Silas knows her whereabouts. He knows where her home is. She isn't safe but if she were to go out of town or out of the country then he won't find her. No one will and she will be safe for the time being. I will have her hidden 'til he comes out and exposes himself. Silas may seem smart but he is far from that. I will be one step ahead of him. This could end everything."

"She does have a far point. Liliana is great in battle and is very powerful. She would have no problem protecting Princess Melony on her own."

"Where would you even go?" Mother asked, worried.

"I don't know but I know, we have to get her out of the country as fast as possible. Silas could have people watching so I would want to leave before anything else happens. Once I get to the destination, I will tell you." They nodded all agreeing with my plan. I seen Father smile.

"What's wrong, Father?"

"I'm proud of you. You'll make a great future queen. You are a very determined young lady." I smiled.

"He is right, sweetie. You care for people around you, no matter who they are. You are about unity and peace. You want what's best for the people around you and that will get you as a powerful queen. We believe you will fix everything."
