~Chapter 20~

I looked at her confused. She grabbed the towel and wrapped it around me. She quickly put on her bra and boxers. She put her hand on my mouth. She mouthed 'be quiet'. I nodded. She opened the door and went out but backed up quickly to see something pass by.

"Oh shit. Get back." She said. I backed away and it was a Zagan. My eyes widened. The Zagan went towards Lili but she kicked them back.

"Call Destiny and tell her to lock the door and windows. Tell her to hide until we get there." Lili said. I nodded and grabbed my phone to call her.

+Lili's POV+

I went on the Zagan and pinned them down. It was a female. My eyes widened. it was just a kid. It pushed me off. I jumped back up and dragged it to the living room. It was trying to bite me but I don't know what to do because I've never fought one. I picked it up and threw them across the room and ran to the kitchen. I grabbed a knife then heard a scream. I ran back to see Mel on the ground. I grabbed the Zagan.

"I'm sorry." I said sad and stabbed it. It scratched my face and I hissed. I felt the cut heal up. I got pushed and she got on top on me. It tried biting me again, but I grabbed it by the throat. It started scratching me again but harder this time really pissed off. I kicked it up and over my head. I flashed my eyes and ripped it head off. It turned to ashes. I sighed and looked over to Mel to see her holding her hand over her mouth.

"U-um Destiny is waiting for us." Mel whispered in shock.

"I don't know how many of them could be on this island, but you guys are going to stay inside and I'm going to do a patrol." I said.

"By yourself?!" She asked. I nodded.

"I promised your bother I would protect you so I will. I wouldn't forgive myself is something happened to you." I said.

"There could be a whole group of them and you can't fight them all on your own." She said. I sighed and went to the room and put some clothes on.

"Don't ignore me Lili, I don't want to worry about you. You could die out there and I wouldn't know. I can't read your mind. Just stay there with us." Mel said getting upset.

"I have to protect you."

"You're stupid. I can protect myself.

"Really? You can't protect yourself without being by the ocean. You think I didn't figure that out when Silas was gonna suck your blood!" I turned to her.

"I can go by the water and fight them off!" I laughed.

"Yeah like that's gonna stop a whole group of them." I said

"Are you underestimating me?" She sounded like she was offended.

"Just do what I said." I sigh.

"No." I looked at her.

"What are you going to do about it?" I gave her a look. I used my super speed and appeared right in front of her. I grabbed her by the throat.

"We'll deal with this later. Just do what I say."

"Make. Me." She struggles saying since I have my hand on her throat. I sigh.

"Fine." I grabbed my belt and wrapped it around her wrists and tightened it.

"What are you doing?" She asked shocked. I picked her up and threw her over my shoulder since she had clothes on now. She must of put them on while I was dealing with the Zagan, away from the bathroom. I started walking out but she kept moving. I slapped her ass making her yelp. I held onto her and used my super speed to run back to the house. Once we got to the house I set Mel down. I knocked on the door and Destiny opened it. We went inside.

"Make sure she doesn't leave and come after me." I said.

"You're bloody."

"I know but I'll be right back. I'm going to do a quick look around the island to see if there are any more Zagans.

"Okay be safe." Destiny said.

"Are you serious?!" Mel yelled. I went to leave.

"If you love me, you'll stay." She held my wrist.

"it will only be 30 minutes to an hour." I said.

"Fine. Leave." She let go of me and left. I shed a tear. I really didn't want to make her upset, but I had to check the island. I turned around.

"I'm doing this to protect you, Mel." I said quietly.

"She'll be fine. She gets like this." I looked at Destiny.

"I'll be back." I said. She gave me a sad smile and I left. I rushed around to make sure there was none left. I went up in the tree and listened for anything. After 45 minutes, I got back to the house. I went up to the balcony to see no one. I sighed. I opened the sliding glass door and closed it locking it. I took some roses and got the bathroom ready. I got the clothes set and went to the living room to see Me and Destiny. Mel saw me and I gave her a small smile.

"There are none. I checked every inch of the island." 

"Thank you Lili. I'm going to sleep." Destiny said as she got up. She patted my shoulder.

"I'm sorry for leaving you but I had to make sure this island was safe for us." She hugged me and I froze.

"Please don't leave me again like that." She sniffled. I hugged her back.

"I won't, I promise." I said and kissed her head. We broke the hug.

"Now let's go to our room." I said and she nodded. I held her hand and brought her to the bathroom. Her eyes widened.

"I did this before I went to the living room." She looked at me and smiled. She gave me a kiss.

"Now where did we leave off?" I smirked and shut the door while kissing her back and pinning her against the door.
