My Sweet Mermaid

~ Chapter 10 ~

I was currently driving to Hannah's home since she lives alone. I was stuck on those words that left Mel's mouth before I jumped out her window and disappeared before anyone could see me. 

"Let's go on a date?" I mumbled as I pulled into Hannah's driveway. 

"Hannah!" I yelled as I walked in.

"Kitchen!" I walked into the kitchen and hopped on the counter. I chewed at my lip.

"I can feel confusion and happiness coming from you. What's going on?" She asked. 

"So the girl we followed at the mall to her home. She's my mate and of course you know this." She ate at the counter and looked at me.

"Yes?" She looked at me as we went to sit at the table.

"Well she spent the night at my house after the party." I mumbled.

Of course Hannah picked up on what I said.

"What?!" She yelled.

"It was quite an eventful night."

"Tell me everything." She said looking at me excited.

"Well at the party three guys were trying to attack her and have sex with her and it pissed me off so while you were drunk having fun, I was tipsy and ended up killing them in the woods for what they were trying to do to her. She caught me killing them and fainted."

Hannah looks at me shocked.

"I obviously flipped out and decided to bring her back to my place. She woke up and flipped out again so i had to calm her down, once she calmed down we talked for a bit and even showered together. I couldn't resist not kissing her in the shower and ended up pulling her to me and kissed her. I confessed that she was my mate. I pretended to fall asleep and she cuddled me and fell asleep. I cuddled her back and then this morning my brother came in and I lied to him saying she was human, and he tried to suck her blood and rubbed his leg on hers. I brought her back to her beach house where we saw her turn into a mermaid and her brother almost caught us. I kissed her again before she asked me out on a date and now here I am." I said out of breath. I looked at Hannah and her mouth was dropped open.

"Holy shit." 

"Yeah so now I'm flipping out because she asked me out on a date."

"Well, I'm glad you found your person, but you know this would have to be a secret like no one can find out she is a mermaid or it can be hell."

"Yes I know."

"So when is the date?"

"I don't know." I sighed.

"Are you fucking serious Lili!"

"What! Fine I'll text her."

 Me: Um I was wondering when you wanted to have this date?

My Mate<3:  Oh um well it can be before I leave so in 2 days at 6pm. I'll meet you at your house.

Me:  Okay I'll see you in 2 days.

My Mate<3: See you :)

"The date is in two days at 6pm and she is coming over to my house." Hannah nodded.

+Mel's POV+

I laid on my bed.

"I can't believe I just asked Lili on a date. What is fucking wrong with you?" I was talking to myself.  I called Destiny to come over then I heard a knock.

"Come in." They opened the door.

"Hey I'm going to sleep to get of this headache." Justin said and I nodded. After 10 minutes Destiny came in with food.

"Soo I have something to tell you." I whispered.

"What is it?"

"Well the girl we ran into at the mall and was in a trance with me. I saw her at the party and she helped me with 3 guys who were making me uncomfortable and later that night I went for a walk to get some fresh air and saw her feeding on the 3 guys. I ended up fainting and woke up at her place. I got to know her and even showered with her then found out she's my mate. We kissed a few times and then cuddled. I asked her out on a date this morning before she left." I said quickly. Destiny chocked on the French fry she was eating.

"Are you serious?" I nodded.

"She's a vampire. You know how bad that is?"

"Yes, but she is amazing and ugh my heart races when she is flirty and kisses me. I just can't describe it." I said.

"Yep, definitely mates. You'll have to keep it a secret."

"I know. The date is in 2 days. I'm going to meet her at her family's house. Byy the way, she is a Sterling."

"What?!" Destiny yelled. 

"Shhhh! I know I know. It makes it worse but it feels so right to be with her and it's a date." I said.

"Oh god, well let's see how the date goes before we leave."

"Yes"
