~ Chapter 47 ~

"My only priority is Mel." I looked at Silas and Mel.

"We'll help you." Sam and Destiny said. I hummed. Destiny controlled the water to make a hand. She grabbed Silas and threw him into the building.

"Holy shit." I mumbled. I never knew Destiny's powers because she never had to fight but damn.

"Woah." Samuel said. I looked at him and he was in awe. 

"Silas!" I flew through the building and landed on him. I got rid of my winds and started punching him.

"This is your last day alive. I'll make it painful."

"We'll see about that, sister." He slapped me but as he did, his nails scratched me and I backed away holding my eye. He grabbed me by my throat and slammed into a statue. I felt a puncture in my head as he squeezed my throat. I looked into his eyes to see pure anger. 

This isn't my brother. This isn't the brother I grew up with.

"T-this i-isn't y-you." I struggled to speak.

"And you know me?! You don't know me, sister."

"She's right!" Silas got pushed into a wall. I fell gasping for air. I turned to see Levana and she smiled lightly.

"I have your back. You're my twin after all."

"2 verse 1. How is this fair?" 

"You messed up, Silas. I wouldn't underestimate us." We went around him as he tried to figure out where we were going to attack him at. We grabbed him but he had our arms.

"Got you." Our eyes widened and he threw us out the building. We slammed into a group and fell on the floor.

"Sissy." I seen Alec running towards us but Silas grabbed the back of his neck.

"Let him go!" I growled. We got up.

"He can't fight. He's useless to me." He slammed Alec's face into the ground. 

"SILAS!" Me and Levana yelled. We bared our fangs and claws. I showed my wings and flew to him. I picked him up into the sky. I spun him around and threw him into an opening. 

"Silas!" Anubis yelled. I flew down fast with my claws ready to go into Anubis's back. Silas's eyes widened and he moved Anubis out of the way. My claws ended going into Silas's chest.

"NO!!" Anubis let out a loud scream.

"I told you I will kill you." I said low. Anubis went to go towards me but Marion came and grabbed him.

"Get off me!" Anubis elbowed Marion in the face and gut. I was distracted to not know my brother's plan. I felt this stinging pain in my stomach. I looked down and his hand was in my stomach. 

"LILI!" Mel yelled. I got pushed to the side. 

+Mel's POV+

All I did was watch. That's all I could do, was watch my family and Lili's family fight. Mermaids verse Vampires. Innocent lives getting killed or injured.

The real enemy is Anubis and Silas so why aren't we attacking them?

Lili and Silas disappeared to fight and I seen Levana run into the building that they went into. Destiny and Samuel were fighting Anubis or trying to. Lili's parents were looking up at me probably trying to figure out what to do. I was trying to figure out how to get out of this stupid fucking bubble. 

Stop this fighting please. I can't see this bloodshed.

I put my face in my palms. I was crying because of this fight. This war. I kept banging on the ball of water but nothing was working. Justin was killing vampires and it made my heart ache. I shook my head as Ondina had Cece behind her, protecting her. My mother was using her powers. I seen Princess Amara. I watched the horror happen beneath me. I seen Levana and Lili get flown out from the building. Alec ran to help them but Silas slammed his face into the ground and I gasped. Lili spread her wings and dragged him up before throwing him into a group. Anubis ran to him and I looked closely. Anubis caressed his cheek and my eyes widened.
