~ Chapter 46 ~

Everyone in the world saw this weird portal show up in the sky. Everyone wondered what it was and peeked outside or watched it on their TVs. 

"Hello, world. I'm Anubis. As you all know, there was a princess who went missing but was found. Her name was Princess Melony Bluewater and she is from the Bluewater Kingdom in the Pacific Ocean. A mermaid. Well guess who finally has her." He moved and Melony was in her mermaid form. Bruised and cut up. Bleeding. Everyone was in horror at the sight. Her father was in pure anger. Justin was shocked. Lili knew what he was doing. 

"King Marion, father to this little princess, killed my parents. You killed your daughter, Athena Bluewater, because she was in love with a vampire. Those were my parents and you murdered them in cold blood. Let's see you kill your daughter. Melony is dating Liliana Sterling. A royal vampire. 2 royals dating. Come after me, Marion. Let's see if you can defeat a hybrid!" Anubis ended the broadcast. 

+Lili's POV+

I was in the meeting room with my whole family when the hologram of the broadcast was happening. I was shocked and pissed. The hologram went away. 

"Lili. Is this true?" Father asked.

"Yes. Melony is my mate but I can't deal with your yelling right now. I have to go save her." I got up and turned to walked out the door.

"Wait!" I stopped.

"We'll help you." I turned to my parents.

"I'll help too." Levana said.

"Same." Alec said.

"We knew you were happier, we just didn't know what it was. You found the one you're spending the rest of your life with. We won't take that away or let anyone else do that." I smiled lightly.

"We'll call our allies. We have a war." Father said. I immediately left to Destiny and Justin. I knocked on the door. The door opened to see Justin and he was not happy.

"You fucking vampire!" Destiny was holding him back but she fell on the floor and he punched me. I felt blood on my lips.

"Listen, I know I lied to you but I have no control of this. She is my fated mate. She isn't just my girlfriend. We are bounded together. We can't fight right now. We need to save her. She is in danger right now." I said.

"You need to stay away from her."

"That's not going to happen. Destiny, are you coming with?" I asked. She got up and nodded. She came with me and we left to where the building was. I parked and immediately got out.

"Lili!" I turned to see my family and others. I seen Samuel's family and his allies. I ran ahead while holding Destiny. I set her down and seen the big ball of water with Mel in it above the building.

"There is that lover I was waiting for." He laughed evily. 

"Lili, don't!" I looked up at Mel. I heard thunder and seen lightning strikes in the distance. I seen the mermaids coming and I ran down to the bridge. I stopped a few feet from him.

"You won't come out alive."

"Neither will you." I looked up at the angel pillars to see Silas on top of one.

"So this is where you've been, well then I can end both of you."

"ANUBIS!" There was a roar. Anubis turned and I pinned him to the pillar. I got pulled off and slammed to the ground. I groaned. I seen Mel trying to get out of the water. She was in fear and pain. My eyes turned red as I looked at Silas. I pushed him off and immediately spread my wings to fly up to Mel. 

"Stay away from her!" I dodged a water attack. I turned to see Justin in his mermaid form. 

"You had no problem being friends with me and now you're against me!" I yelled.

"You're a vampire and I let you under my roof and take advantage of my sister."

"She's my mate!" I growled.

"King Marion, welcome."

"Let my daughter go!" I went up to her but Mel screamed. I touched the water but got zapped by electricity. I fell and landed on a pillar.

"Lili!" She yelled. I see Silas above me, and he smirked.

"Let's start this war, shall we?" Silas asked. 

"No! We don't need a war!" My father yelled.

"Yes, because vampires and mermaids are forbidden with being each other!" Marion said.

"You can't control fated mates!" Levana said. Silas pulled me close.

"Now my parents care about fated mates." Silas said.

"Silas, get away from her!" Mel said.

"What are you going to do mermaid? You're trapped."

"I don't want bloodshed! We can talk about this!" Mel said. Anubis laughed along with Silas.

"Talk it out. Such a typical thing to say. Your father is a murderer. He murdered your sister."

"She disobeyed me." Marion said.

"So, anyone who disobeys you, gets murdered." 

"Vampires are bloodsuckers. They go after anyone to dry them of their blood. They don't belong in this world."

"How can you say that? We have tried to live in peace. We want to unite with the mermaids. We don't want fights or wars." A king said. 

"You deserve to burn in the ground." Marion said. I pushed Silas off of me and flew up to Mel but I got zapped from the side before getting to her. I landed on the bridge and groaned. 

"Lili." Destiny ran to me. She helped me sit up with Samuel.

"That's a warning." Marion yelled.

"You dare harm our daughter!" Father became very angry. Everyone yelled.

"There it is."
