My Sweet Mermaid

~ Chapter 22 ~

I was at the meeting table with some of my best mermen on a mission. His face was shown on a scroll. 

"Men, this man is our top priority. He must be found and brought to me. He is going to help us find that little princess." I smirked while staring at the photo of him and her. 

"I want you to search throughout the oceans to find him. Every hiding spot. Now go!" I yelled.

"Yes King!" They yelled before swimming away. I placed my hands on the table while staring. I grabbed the scroll and made it disappear. 

"This plan will work and I'll be more powerful than ever. Nothing will get in my way." I laughed like a menace.

I mean I am a menace but that's okay.

-A week later-

I was at the meeting table looking at the Bluewater Kingdom. I smirked seeing my men cause terror to their kingdom. The screams and cries of the children and parents put a smile on my face. The family trapped in an inescapable water dome but electrified cage around the dome. Slight touch sends a high voltage lightning strike through their bodies. I seen the King screaming in anger as his wife hugged their 2  younger daughters. He punched the dome and I watched as lightning strikes hit him sending him flying in front of his loved ones.

"I win Bluewater." I heard the bell and swiped the scene out of my face. I looked over to see 2 of the men holding him. 

"Have a seat......Anubis." They directed him to the seat on my right side.

"Why did you hunt me down? What does the Liddell King want with me?"

"Don't you want to learn about your parents?" I see it in his eyes. He knows I'm evil but he knows he doesn't really know who his parents are.

"What is the reason for this?"

"Let's make exchange. I give you information and you give me something in return. We both win."

"Continue." 

"Perfect. Well Anubis since you've been an orphan your whole life, I'll tell you the reason." I seen him clench his jaw.

"Okay." I showed him as a baby with his parents.

"This is the last view of you with your parents. They hid you so you would be safe because you're a powerful hybrid." 

"Just tell me before I swim out of here." Anubis was starting to get irritated.

"Athena and Damien are your parents. Athena, a mermaid, and Damien, a vampire." He got up when I told him.

"What? I can't be a hybrid. It's a forbidden law. Vampires and Merpeople can't be together. If caught breaking the law, you get a death sentence."

"That law was created by King Marion himself. Athena was adopted into the Bluewater family. Everything went well until she fell in love and found her other half, Damien. They kept their relationship a secret. Athena always snuck off to see Damien and they were true love come true until Athena decided to tell her father about her found mate." He looked at me and I knew he was listening, thoroughly to what I was saying. 

"Marion didn't take it very well and was fuming of anger because he always believed Vampires and Merpeople never belonged together. He was worried for Athena's health being with a bloodsucking monster. He forbade her and became violent and Damien became very protective and went after Marion himself. Marion fighting Damien ending with the two worlds going to war all because of two mates. They had you before they were taken and killed." Anubis became angry.

"What do you want from me?" He said cold. 

"I want Marion's daughter, Melony. She is somewhere on land. Went on a trip and Marion isn't spilling information. If you can kidnap her for me, then you can kill Marion and his wife for revenge on your parents death. How does that sound?" His eyes changed to a murderous look.

"I will hunt her down and bring her to you." 

+Anubis's POV+

After getting the king's information. I swam my fastest to land to search for Melony Bluewater. Once I got on land, I had legs and changed into an outfit I stole from someone's back porch. I left to an abandoned house and got set up. 

"Where would you be, little mermaid?"
