My Sweet Mermaid

~ Chapter 30 ~

"What?!" I got up and hung up on Destiny before she could say another word. 

"I'm sorry to interrupt this meeting but something came up and I have to go." I ran out the room and grabbed my keys. I sped to the beach house, zipping in and out of traffic while calling Hannah.

"Yes Lili."

"Mel has gone missing." 

"I'm on my way." I pulled into the driveway and walked right into the house. Destiny got up as soon as she seen me.

"Her phone is off. I've tried to text and call but nothing will go through. This isn't like her." Destiny was worried. Hannah showed up and I called Jaiden.

"Lili?"

"I believe Mel got kidnapped. Please come to her house." I said.

"Okay. I am on my way." I hung up and paced back and forth. 

"Who could have done this to her?" 

"I don't know but someone is dying." I clenched my fists. 

"Oh hello. What is going on?" Justin asked.

"Mel has gone missing and I believe someone kidnapped her." I told him. His eyes darkened.

"What?!"

"She was in bed then we went for a swim and she left back home. I came back home and she was gone. I tried to call her but it goes straight to voicemail. The texts don't even go through. Her location is off also. I looked at the last location and it was somewhere near a park." Destiny explained. After a while, Jaiden walked in. Justin and Destiny were on the couch. Hannah was in a chair. I sat in another chair while playing with my finger.

"Do we know what happened to her?" Jaiden asked.

"All we know is someone took her. They shut her location and phone off. We need to find her." Justin said. 

"I'm killing someone." I said.

"No, we don't need anymore bloodshed." Hannah scolded me.

"Who in their right mind would kidnap her?" I asked, irritated.

"I think I might know who." Justin spoke up. We all look at him, waiting for an explanation. 

"I'm going to tell you guys something and it's going to be quite shocking."

"Justin." Destiny said.

"They need to know."

"What the hell is going on?" I asked.

"My name is Justin Bluewater. Mel is Melony Bluewater as in Bluewater royal family. We are merpeople. Our palace got over run and it's been months since we left for a small vacation. The king of the Liddell Clan, he wanted to take my parents power and have my sister marry his son but they don't know her whereabouts. So, I don't know if he somehow, found her location and took her when she was vulnerable." 

"You're royals?" I asked, pretending to be shocked.

"I thought you were just normal." Jaiden said. All of us pretended to be shocked because Justin knew nothing. He didn't know vampires were literally under his roof. Standing before him. 

"I'm sorry but that's the secret."

"We need to tell the police." Destiny spoke up.

+Mel's POV+

I groaned as I woke up. I blinked and looked around. The stones were broken and grass was in the bricks. I was definitely somewhere abandoned. The roof was high and I seen statues all rusted. I felt the chair move back slowly and I panicked. The chair fell back and I groaned. I opened my eyes to see the sky. I got more of a view of the broken down building and it was a castle. I felt like I was on an edge and moved my head slightly to see I was on a balcony with the railing broken and fallen apart. I seen water and greek architectures. This place was beautiful for being abandoned. The chair moved and I screamed as the chair slid back into the building fast. It stopped and I opened my eyes to see nothing. My heartbeat was fast and I was out of breath. The chair was sat up and I hissed from the ropes on my wrist and my hands being scraped. 

"SOMEONE HELP ME!" I screamed.

"Oh, Melony. No one will hear you." I heard a low voice. I turned and kept hearing cackling. They went away and I shook my head and soon started crying. 

Please someone help me.

+Lili's POV+

"Please someone help me"

I sat up while flashing my eyes.

"Lili?" Destiny asked. Me, Destiny, Hannah, and Jaiden were in an empty restaurant.

"Mel." It has been 2 days since she went missing.

"She called out?" Hannah asked.

"Please someone help me was her words."

"But how can you read her thoughts this far unless she is nearby?" Hannah asked.

"She has to be nearby." 

" Melony Bluewater of the Bluewater Royal Kingdom has been kidnapped. If you know anything, please speak up and report to the police." 

My eyes darkened watching them talk about her. 

"We will find her, Lili. She will be okay." 

"I hope you are right." I drank my coffee. 

"So, Liliana." I looked up to see Silas.

"What do you want, Silas?" 

"Your little blood bag is a royal mermaid. She's come over a few times." I got up.

"She isn't a blood bag. She is my friend. I didn't even know she was a royal mermaid until she went missing." I stood a few feet away from him. 

"She is probably dead now with these vampire attacks happening." I pinned him to the wall while hissing. My fangs out and ready to attack.

"Lili, stop!" Hannah said.

"If you know where she is Silas, you better fucking tell me or I will kill you. I don't care if we are family." I growled low. He smirked and pushed me to the side causing me to stumble back but Destiny and Hannah caught me.

"SILAS, YOU BASTARD!" I yelled and he left.
