~Chapter 19~

+A week later+

Me and Lili are finally having our date that was supposed to be a surprise but her brother Silas was trouble. I started making food for the picnic. I made Lili's favorite food, orange chicken with rice. After I cooked her food, I cut up fruits and put them in a bowl for us with a spoonful of sugar. After i finished, I organized the cooler with some ice packs. I cleaned up and left to my room to get dressed. I put on my bathing suit and then blue jean shorts, a white t-shirt, my black Jordans, and my oversized jean jacket hoodie.

I grabbed my bag filled with a couple sets of clothes and went downstairs. I hugged Justin.

"Have fun you two and be safe. I'll see you tomorrow." Justin said.

"We will." Destiny said coming up to us with some bags in her hand. We packed up the car and headed to Lili's. After about 20 minutes, we got to Lili's and saw her waiting outside the gate with a bag.

+Lili's POV+

I started getting ready for the 2 day fate that Mel panned for us. I decided to put on my bathing suit. I then put on my black ripped jeans along with a black tank top, an oversized black jean jacket, and my black timberlands. I brushed my hair and then left with my bag down to the gate when I started smelling the strawberry scent nearby. I went on my phone and then heard the car pull up. I smiled and Mel came out and ran to me. I opened my arms and she jumped up into them. I held onto her and hugged her.

"Hi beautiful." I said. She leaned back and smiled blushing.

"Hey. You ready for today?" She asked and I nodded.

"Born ready." I smiled and gave her a quick kiss. I set her down.

"Hello blood bag." I heard. I looked over and seen Silas in his car.

How long has he been there? Did he see us kiss?

"Shut the fuck up Silas." I said pushing Mel to the side of me.

"Go in the car and leave the door open but start driving." Mel nodded.

"Respect me Liliana." I walked towards his car.

"I'll start respecting you when you start being less of a douche bag and more of a man." I said leaning down to look at his face. I took out my pocket knife.

"Excuse me?!" He yelled mad.

"Have fun big brother." I stabbed his tire then ran fast and hopped in the car, closing the door.

"Holy shit you're fast." Destiny said.

"Drive fast." She nodded.

"Wow that was awesome." Mel said. I smiled.

"So what are we doing?" I asked.

"You'll see." Mel said while trying to hide her smile.

"Okay." Mel laid her head in my lap and I played with her hair until I fell asleep leaning on the window.

+An hour and a half later+

I got woken up. I groaned and looked to see Destiny and Mel.

"We're here. We are taking a boat trip." Mel said bouncing a little with excitement.

"Boat trip?" I questioned.

"Yes, to our private island." Mel said. I nodded and got out with my stuff. We went on the boat and the captain started it up.

"how long of a boat ride." I asked.

"45 minutes." Mel responded. I nodded. The breeze felt nice. I soon smelt blood and froze.
