Even Death Won't Do us Apart.

  I started writing this story around the beginning of August 2023, then stopped by November only to pick it up again by the end of December. By that time I was well passed chapter 35 if I remember correctly, and you might call me out for waiting so long to start publishing it but in my defense, NO T-T . When I was writing Fire and Water I was practically publishing a chapter as soon as I write/ proof read it and that made the story lose a lot of its potential, I now read it and feel sad that it feels like reading a draft and not an actual story, the fanfic had so much potential that I simply wasted due to being hasty and I absolutely do NOT wanna fall in the same mistake again with Even Death won't Do us Apart.

  Back to my original idea, I started this story mid 2023, then few weeks earlier (beginning of Feb) I was watching Bungo Stray Dogs because yes, I'm a fan of anime, and I was so surprised that around the third or fourth season, they brought up a system similar to the one Jimin and Taehyung wanna steal, only that the one in the anime mainly focuses on locating people using security systems from all around the world while that feature is only secondary in the system I created.

  And to be honest, I felt really giddy seeing it because I do believe that no human being has an authentic thought/ idea, everything we know or we've ever thought of is an accumulation of different thoughts and ideas we've previously seen or heard about that was stored in our unconsciousness ready to be morphed with other ideas or prior knowledge then articulated when needed. So I didn't exactly feel wary or insecure.

  What pissed me off tho is the name the author gave to his system, it was so creative and better suited than the one I originally came up with which was "Project Mirari". Yup that was the original name of Yoongi's system because the way I viewed it, it was like the mirror in Snow White story, you ask it about someone and it provides you with everything you need to know about them along with their whereabouts. Project Mirari was perfect, but the name was far from being suitable for the persona I was trying to give Yoongi, it was too fairytaily.

  "The Eyes of God" however... PERFECT. I fell in love with it as soon as I heard it, then I kinda felt sad/ mad at the lack of my creativity, and tho I initially did my best to convince myself that the name I came up with is decent and that I should not change it, I always found myself hung up on the eyes of God. It was a trivial detail yes, but one that I couldn't get over and it was freaking beyond me.

  Thus, I decided to borrow the name and give credit to the original creator for the sake of literary integrity. And now that I'm passed the self loathing phase, I feel thankful for recognizing that I sure have a lot of room for self improvement as a writer, and I'll do my best to be the best version of myself throughout the rest of this story and for –perhaps- the next stories as well!
