Hyunjin x Felix series 2

The secret...ish

On the drive Felix was asleep over half the time. More than Jinhyun. When he wakes up he gets hungry.

"Morning, sunshine."

"Are we there yet? I'm hungry."
"We're close. I put a snack for you in the glove compartment."

"You thought of everything huh?", he takes out a snack bag.

"Goldfish?"

"Who doesn't like goldfish?"
"I would've expected something more savory."

"So, you don't want them?"
"Of course I do. Who doesn't like goldfish?", he starts eating them.

"So, what did you and your friends talk about?"
"Nothing. Why?"

"Just curious. Was it about me?"
"Not really."
"What does that mean?"

"Nothing. Don't worry about it."

"You're kinda making me worry."
"Just please forget about it, ok?", he snaps.

"Fine."

Felix rests his head and looks out the window. The rest of the ride was quiet and when they got to their new house. Jinhyun was wide awake and was the only one breaking the silence.

Felix picks him up and gets his baby bag before heading inside. The place was pretty big and spacious.

"Ugh. I forgot there were stairs."

He made his upstairs then took a peak in each room.
"This can be either your brother's or sister's room."

Then he opens door directly across.
"Ooh. This is definitely your room.", he sits him on the floor then he crawls out.

"Jinhyun! Come back here before you get hurt."
The little laughs then screams happily when Felix picked him up.

"You think you're so funny, don't you? You're lucky you're cute."
"What happened? I heard screaming."

"Nothing. Jinhyun was being silly.", he walks downstairs.
"Do you need help?"

"No. If I need help, I'll ask."
"You're not still mad are you?"
"I was never mad."

"You were giving the silent treatment."
"No. I just wasn't saying anything and neither were you."

"Because I thought you were mad."
"Well, I'm not. If you want to keep secrets, then by all means."

"This is what you're going to do? Make me feel guilty?"
"Of course not. Ughn.."

"What is it?"
"Slight cramps."
"Come sit down."

Huunjin takes Jinhyun from him then sits him down in the kitchen.
"Rest here, ok?"

"Glad I told you. Who knows what would've happened if I hadn't."
"Really."

"I'm serious."

"Look, Felix. I don't want to tell you because it's water under the bridge now. And if you knew, you wouldn't be too happy about it. To avoid any problems I won't say anything. And there's nothing you can do that'll change my mind."

He left to go get the stuff from the car.

"You won't tell me, but I know who will.", he takes out his phone to call someone.

Before he calls he goes somewhere where Hyunjin with hear him. Which was the backyard.

"Hello, Felix. Not even a day and you're already calling me."
"Seungmin, my friend. I got a question for you, bestie."

"Bestie? Are we besties?"

"Of course."
"I thought you and Changbin had a thing, but ok."

"The question is what did you talk about with Hyunjin earlier?"
"Ohh I see. He didn't tell you and now you're curious."

"All he said that it was gonna make me mad."
"He'll be mad if I tell you."

"I won't mention it to him or ask him anything about it. I swear."

"Since we are friends I'll tell you. We used to date."
"...that's it? That's the big secret?"

"Yup."
"Why would I be upset about that?"
"I'm surprised you're not."

"A guy like him can have anyone he wants."
"True."

"So, you're not jealous?"
"I was, but you're nice. I'm able to get over it."

"And what was that fight about?"

"Oh that? Hyunjin has some flaws that are hard to deal with. I forgave him though."

"That's nice."
"Huh. You're reacting a lot better than I thought."

"I like you. You're a good friend and thanks for telling me."
"Don't tell Hyunjin I did."

"I promise I won't say a word."
"Ok. Is that all you wanted to know?"

"Yeah. And I will miss you. Come visit whenever you like."
"You sure?"

"I have no where else to be, so I'll be here with Jinhyun."

"Gasp! I love Jinnie. I'll take you up on that offer. I have to go now. You'll see me sooner than you think. Bye.", he hangs up.

"I bet he's coming today."

That evening the family sits down at the kitchen table eating their dinner.

"Our first dinner in our new house. Are you happy?", Felix asked.
"Never happier."

As much as Felix thought about it he never could picture Hyunjin and Seungmin together. It made him more at ease because of that.

"Oh. I have to go to work early tomorrow."
"Ok. I hope it goes well."

"Still text me if you need anything."
"I will. Don't worry about us and focus on work."

"I will."
"And let me know what kind of inventory you have.", he smirks.

"Will do."
"After Jinhyun is asleep we can do some exploring of the house."

"I would love that, but you're pregnant."
"There's other things we can do.", he licked his lips seductively.

"I'm gonna put him to bed right now."
