Hyunjin x Felix series 2

Rough days and nights

Felix sits in Lily's room with his head in his hands as she continuously cries. Hyunjin comes back from work and knocks on the room door.

"What's going on?"

"Sigh. She's been crying like this forever. I don't know what she wants. She's not hungry, she doesn't like my lullabies, I can't put her to sleep. I've tried everything."

"Let me try something.", he picks her up from her crib.
"What are you gonna do?"

"Take her out. Don't worry and get some sleep."

The older takes her out into the night and with the peace and quiet Felix was able to take a shower before bed and relax.

Hyunjin takes her to an all night store since most were closed and closing. He purchases a tiny tiara for her and a little wand.

"I got these for you, princess. This was the smallest tiara they had but I will hold onto it until you can fit it. Here's your tiny scepter though."

Lily had finally stopped crying and grabs a hold of it with her baby hand. Hyunjin buckles in her car seat as she waves it around.

"Maybe appa can spoil you without your Eomma finding out."
She giggles. "Gasp! Your first laugh. Promise me you'll be like this then I'll get you anything you want. Ok?"

"Hyunjin?"
He turns around. "Minho. What are you doing here?"

"Oh I put a tracking device in your phone and been following you. It's an all night market. Why do you think I'm here?"

"Who put a stick up your ass?"
"You kiss your baby with that mouth?"

"She's not even paying attention."
"Au contraire they do. More than you think."

"Well I'll leave you and your stick which must be pretty thick alone."
"I'm sorry. I'm just tired."

"Aren't we all."

"The job is great. But it's a lot of energy consuming. Every day I end up taking a nap with them."

"Ask Chan to do something."
"It's only been two weeks. I can do it."

"If you need a break then say something."
"I'm fine. It's not too bad."

"You look.......alive."
"Gee thanks, Dr. Hyunjin."
"You'll be ok. Really. Just rest as much as you can."

"You do know I have boyfriend right?"
"So?"

"So I still have to make him happy."
"Talk to him about it."

"Ugh. You're useless. Why am I even telling you this?", he walks inside.

"Oh you're welcome, Minho. No it's no problem to hear your struggles at 10 o'clock at night. It's not like I have two kids and a husband to look after.", he says sarcastically.

He turns to Lily who fell asleep.
"Sorry you heard that, princess. I need to sleep myself."

Two days later Felix heads upstairs to where his husband was working with a frown on his face.

"Hyunjin."
"Hey what's-"
"What is this?", he holds up a designer dress that can fit Lily.

"A dress."
"No shit. Why is it from Gucci?"
"Ok babe-"

"Don't 'babe' me. I told you not to treat our kids as spoiled brats."
"They're not spoiled brats."

"They will be soon if you keep this up."

"She likes it. Would you rather hear her crying non stop or listen to peace and quiet?"

"You don't have to get expensive things."
"I want to. It's how I show my love. You know that."

The blonde crosses his arms.

"I basically took care of you when we first met all the way till now. And you weren't complaining then."

"You got me simple things."
"Simple? I guess five thousand dollars worth of plushies is simple."

"It's not five thousand dollars."

"Based on that collection you refuse to get of uh yeah it is. Not to mention two houses I bought for us."

"I bet this dress cost way more than both of them combined."
"It was one grand."

"What the fuck? That's way too much to be spent on clothing. You can be saving that money for something important."

"I do."
"Oh really?"

"Yes. I don't know why you're getting fussy. Probably you forgot that blue death trap that's in our driveway."

"That's different. We didn't have kids then."
"Oh you get to be spoiled but not Jinhyun or Lily."

"Screw you. You're returning this and whatever else you spent millions of dollars on."

"I'm not returning them."
"What?"
"I won't. They're gifts. And it's my money."

Felix writhed with anger. He throws the dress on the floor. "Fine! Then go buy yourself another fucking husband!"

He storms off and leaves the house after slamming the door. He takes his car then speeds off. Hours later night came and Jisung gets a knock on his door.

"Oh...Felix? What happened to you?", he looks at him being a mess and with a vodka bottle in his hand.

"I'm sooo sorry Sungie..I n-need you right here..", he stumbles.
"Ok. Come."
