Felix's sleepless night

"Then I walked downstairs and saw his parents there, but I didn't know it was them at first.", Jisung told Felix.

"What did you say?"

"Nothing. I practically embarrassed myself cause I was half naked with no pants on."

"Oof. That is embarrassing."
"I pray that I won't see them again."
"Really?"

"I think Minho has some issues with them or something. Anyways what did you do?"

"What I'm doing now. Watching my kids."
"You look pretty exhausted."

"I'm fine. I'm thankful they're not noisy. Peace and quiet." Just then Jinhyun screams while playing in the living room.

"Except that."
"I envy you. You have a good a life and family."

"I envy you too. You and Minho can go on having sex anytime you want. And your fit. Plus, you have Minho in your life so you're not alone anymore."

"That's true. You shouldn't worry about body size. I think you're...fine."

"You hesitated. Am I that fat?"
"No no. I was thinking of a word."
"Fine? That's terrible. Ugh. I'm ugly."

"No you're not. I had poor choice of words. I meant perfect.", he rests his hand on the blonde's.

"Now you're lying."
"Felix."
"No, I get it. I'm not as attractive as I used to be."

"That's not true. I'm sure Hyunjin thinks the same way."
"You're just saying that to be nice."

"Why do you think that?"
"..."
"Felix?"

"Nothing. I need a drink.", he gets up to get a bottle of wine.
"I don't think you should."

"It's just one glass." He fills the glass to the top then gulps it down.
"Whew. I feel better. What were we talking about?"

"Should I call Hyunjin to come here?"
"What? No. I'm perfectly able to handle two babies by myself."

"Here. Lay down on the couch and I'll watch Lily and Jinhyun. You should rest."

He helps the blonde to the couch then pulls a blanket over him.

"Don't baby me. I'm...fine.", he yawns.
"Don't worry about a thing. Sleep well."

"You're a..good friend."
"I try."
Lily starts crying and Felix automatically gets up.

"No. You stay here and let me take care of her, ok?"
"Ok.", he lays back down.

Over the next several hours Jisung takes care of Jinhyun and Lily with no problem while Felix sleeps soundly. Night comes and the blonde wakes up then checks the time. Hyunjin wasn't back yet, so he called him.

"Hey are you still at work?"
"Yes. What's wrong?"
"Nothing. I thought you'd be back by now."

"Not yet, but I'll be there soon. Are the kids ok?"
"Yeah they're-", he looks around and noticed they weren't with him.

"Babe? What is it?"
"Hold on." He goes upstairs then heard a voice coming from Jinhyun's room.

He peeks inside and saw Jisung telling them a story and smiled.
"Yeah they're fine."

"Ok I'll see you later. Bye."
"Bye.", the call ends. Felix guess back downstairs into the kitchen for some water.

"Oh. You're awake. You were sleeping so heavily I didn't know if you'd wake up."

"Oh sorry."
"No it's ok. I had no problem with them at all."

"You're a lifesaver. I love you.", he gives him a hug.
"It was nothing. Happy to help. How are you feeling?"

"Eh. Could be worse. You should go home now and rest yourself."
"You still look tired."

"You worry too much. I'm fine. I had my sleep. Now go home."
"Ok but don't push yourself."

"I won't."
"I'll talk to Hyunjin again if you need me to."

"No need. Now go. You helped enough.", he pushes him to the door.

"I'll stop by tomorrow."
"Nonsense. Spend that time with Minho."

"But-"
"Jisung, if you don't leave I'll pepper spray you. Shoo."

"Ok bye.", he leaves and the younger closes the door then rests against it.

"Sigh. I need a vacation."

In the middle of the night Lily starts crying, waking Felix up first. He groggily gets out of bed and heads to her room.

"You're tiring me out. You know that?", he picks her up and rocks her back to sleep.

"I love you anyways." Just when she calms down, Jinhyun wakes up.
"Damn it.", he curses to himself.

He walks over to his room and sees him sitting up.
"Yah go back to sleep. You're fine."

Jinhyun doesn't listen and throws his blanket.
"Mmm..ma...aa.", he giggles.

"Listen to Eomma and sleep. Sigh. Maybe you two should share a room."

He covers Jinhyun with his blanket only for him to kick it off.
"Fine. I guess you'll be cold."

After putting Lily back in her crib Felix went back to his son's room.

"Not tired huh? You remind me every bit of Hyunjin. Your appa was the same when we met. He wouldn't let me sleep a wink. All he did was talk and talk until I threatened to kill him. I won't do that to you. Your cuteness keeps me sane and your sister's."

He kissed his chubby cheeks.
"Ma!", the little one touches his face with a big smile.

"I love you too."
