Hyunjin x Felix series 2

Together as one

Felix rushes to the daycare and saw Jinhyun with SunSun and Sunwoo outside waiting. The blonde breathes relief.

"Oh thank you so much."
"It's no problem."
"I got lost this time."

"Bad with directions?"
"Maybe."
"Mama wook!", Jinhyun shows him a small flower he picked up.

"Is that for me?"
He nods.
"Aww thank you, angel. Where did you park?"

"We walk here."
"From your house?"
"It's not that far. About three blocks away."

"I'll take you both there."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes I'm sure we're going there anyways right?"

"Yes but we have no problem walking."
"Allow us to take you there. Ok? Though I don't have a car seat for SunSun."

"I can hold him in my lap."
"Ok then."

After Felix straps his son in his seat he gets in. Sunwoo places his son on his lap before putting on the seatbelt.

"Ready?"
"Yup. I'll tell you which way to go."

After they arrived they get out the car and Felix takes Jinhyun in his arms as he follows Sunwoo inside.

"Ooh. Your house is nice."
"I designed it myself."
"Wait. Actually?"

"Mhmm."
"No wonder it fits you.", he sets Jinhyun down.

"Would you like something to drink? And I have juice for Jinhyun if he's thirsty."

"Thank you. I'll take water."
Sunwoo hands Jinhyun a juice box after opening it. 
"What do you say?"

"Mmmmm."
"Thank you."
"Tank ouuu."

"You're welcome.", he smiles warmly.

The little ones played in the living room while the older two kept an eye on them from the kitchen table.

"So it's just you two living here?"
"Yup. My ex left for another when I was carrying SunSun."

"Oh. I'm sorry."
"It's fine. I'm over it now. I think just the two of us is enough for me."

"How did you learn to be independent?"

"Well it was hard at first but the moment where I felt like giving up I kept reminding myself that I have a baby to take care of. Thank goodness he got his looks from me otherwise I would've kept seeing his appa's face.", he laughs.

Felix takes a sip of his water while thinking.
"Anyways what about you?"

"I'm married with two kids."
"Two?"
"I have a little princess name Lily."

"She sounds cute."
"Don't let her looks deceive you because she can be harsh."

"How old is she?"
"Less than one. I think Hyunjin knows how many months. I can't do anything without him."

"Then why don't you do anything together? Side by side."
"Cause he mostly does everything. What can I do that isn't what every housewife does?"

"What's wrong with being a housewife?"
"It makes me feel useless."

"I don't think you're useless. It's a lot of responsibility and the most important thing is taking care of two kids on your own while your husband is at work. That definitely shows strength."

"He works from home now so all I do is complain and demand about how he takes care of them. I don't know why or how he puts up with me."

"Probably because nothing can separate you two. That's the point of being married right? You still love each other on the good and bad days."

"Do I deserve him?"

"More than anything. Believe me. A break up is the toughest thing in life and trying to get over it. I know you two will have a long lifetime together.", he pats his hand.

"Thank you, Sunwoo. How can anyone leave you?"
"Who knows?"

"I wouldn't."
"That's sweet. Thanks."

"No dis.", Jinhyun takes a big Lego block and stacks it top of a tower they're building.

The blocks weren't connected so the tower tumbles down and the two scream and laugh.

"Again again again!", SunSun shouted.

Two hours later Felix arrives home and Jinhyun ran excitedly to Hyunjin who picked him up and kissed his cheek.

"Hi, gummy bear. Did you have fun?"
"Yesss!"

"Tell appa what you did.", he takes him for a bath. Felix follows and watches the two have fun splashing around the water.

"Remember this?", Hyunjin holds up Felix's rubber ducky. The blonde takes it and squeezes it. Tears fall down his cheeks.

"Babe, what's wrong?"
He doesn't answer then he falls to his knees before wrapping his arms around Hyunjin for a hug.

"Are you ok?"
"I love you all so much. I don't deserve such a family."

"Yes you do. I married you for a reason. Nothing can stop me from loving you."

Felix pulls out the hug and stares at him while Sunwoo's words run in his mind.

"You're right. You're my husband so I should be able to depend on you as much as you depend on me. Together is when we're the strongest. If anything happens to one of us then that's when we'll figure what to do. But now..let's do this together. As one."

"Ok. Let's do it."
