Hyunjin x Felix series 2

Minho's job interview

The four gathered at the kitchen table in the afternoon while the kids take their naps.

"Do we agree?", asked the oldest. The others give nods.

"Wait. What about you two and the ring?", Felix asks.
Jisung looks at Minho.

"I think I should wait for the right time. If he's ok with it?"
Jisung nods with a soft smile.

"If there's nothing else, I'm gonna get ready for my interview."
"For what?", asked Hyunjin.

"To be a teacher remember?"
"Oh right."
"Good luck, Min. I know you'll do well."

"I always do.", he leaves.
"What should we do now?", Jisung looks at the other two.

"I have an idea.", Felix smiles.

Minho sits in the principal's office for his interview and waits for them to finish reading his resumé.

"So Mr. Lee, what was your previous job entail? You left that part blank."

"I wasn't sure if I could add it or not but I worked at a company that makes and sells adult toys."

"Oh."
"It's where I've been for the last few years."

"I see. And how do you think that correlates with this job?"

"Well I mean we teach and show adults how to use the toys but other than that I don't think there is a correlation."

The principal laughs a bit. "I like you. You're not afraid to lie."
"Why would I lie to you?"

"A lot of people do for interviews but I'm glad you're not those people. No previous teaching experience but you do have a bachelor degree. What changed your mind?"

"I have been told repeatedly that I'm a child magnet. Kids love me and for a while I loved them too. But my past steered me in a different direction. I met people who I care for and they talked me into doing this. So here I am. A whole bachelor's degree just sitting so I should use it, right?"

"I agree. I think we can have you ready before the school year starts."

"And one more thing if you don't mind. I have a...well he's my nephew so I-"

"You want me to enroll him?"
"He's already enrolled. His parents would more than appreciate that I'll be his teacher."

"I see. Well we are having kids look around the school to get a feel of it so bring him by next week. I will see what I can do."

"Thank you, Mr.."
"Call me Chan.", he smiles.

When Minho gets in the car he receives a call from Jisung.
"Yes?"

"Hey are you heading back yet?"
"I am now. Why?"
"No reason. Just checking. Bye."

"You're not gonna ask how it went?"
"I'll wait till you get here then tell all of us."

"Ok then."

"I love you bye.", he hangs up quick.
"Weird.", Minho shrugs it off and drives off.

Jisung puts down his phone. "Ok. We have to hurry. Minho is on his way back."

"I didn't even decorate my cookies yet. We should've gone to the store.", Hyunjin said.

"It's not the same as homemade.", Felix adds.
"I'm not a good baker. You know that."

"Don't worry Hyunjin they look edible.", Jisung gave Jinhyun a crumb.

Felix chills in the living room with his daughter after had finished making brownies that don't take too much time to bake.

"Learn from your Eomma ok, Lily? Work smarter not harder." She coos.

He sets her in her rocking chair and hands a toy to her then she puts it in her mouth.

"It's too soon for you to teethe."

When Minho enters the house he immediately smells the scent of cookies and heaps amount of chocolate. He walks through the living room to the kitchen and saw the mess.

"Oh hey, Min. So how did it go?", Jisung asks. Hyunjin stops what he's doing.

"It went well. I'm officially a teacher."
"Gasp! Yay! Congrats!", Jisung hugs him. "I knew you would."

They all congratulated him and did a group hug.
"So what happened here? I didn't get a tornado warning."

"Ha ha so funny. We made this for you.", Hyunjin replies.
"You made a mess for me?"

"No, idiot. Cookies. And Felix made brownies."
"Which took him like ten minutes."

"I'm a pro."
"You guys made this? Why?"

"As a celebration. We knew you'd get the job.", the blonde gives him a side hug.

"Thanks to you all. I do appreciate it."
"It was no problem at all. Jinhyun is also happy about it, right gummy bear?", Hyunjin picked him up.

"And I told you that you'll get the job.", Jisung kisses the older's cheek.
"Alright. Let's fill up on a bunch of sugar!"

They all agreed and ate sweets together along with Hyunjin giving baby bites to Jinhyun who also enjoyed the cookies he made.
