Hyunjin x Felix series 2

The big day

"Everybody gather around! I have a surprise!", Hyunjin told and the three sit on the couch with Lily in Felix's arms and Jinhyun plays on the floor.

"What's this about?", the older asked.

"After a bit of searching I've found the perfect backpack for Jinhyun's first school year ever."

Hyunjin pulls out a mini backpack from bag. "It's limited edition mini backpack from Versace."

"How much did that cost?", the blonde asks.
"That is for me to know and for you not to worry about."

"That means it was hella expensive.", Minho told.

"What matters is that Jinhyun is ready for his big day and he's happy about it.", he hands the bag to him.

"Hyun, I don't want him being one of those rich kids when he's not."
"But...isn't he? We just don't spoil him."

"Well I like the bag."

"Thank you, Jisung. Babe, Jinhyun will be fine. No other babies will know anyways."

"The parents will."

"Don't get in your head and worry about what they're thinking or saying. It's only a bag."

"Yeah. And that bag will turn into shoes, clothes and then his lifestyle will change and he would be the rich snobby kid that bullies everyone. Just like how I was bullied back then. And I refuse to let that happen."

He gives Jisung Lily and went off the bedroom then slams the door. Silence fills the room except the hearing of the little one's noises. Then Hyunjin follows him.

"Wow. No wonder you don't want any children."
"Yeah...that's why.", Jisung looks at Lily.

Hyunjin enters the room and the blonde is no where to be seen.
"Felix?", he looks under the bed and in the bathroom. "Baby, I just want to talk."

He looks at the closet doors then opens them.
"Felix.."

He was curled up in a ball in the corner. The older sits down.

"If you're really upset about the bag I'll take it back. Maybe I got a little overexcited about this."

"A little? You bought a whole Versace bag. I know that's expensive."

"Not as expensive as that car."
"..."

"I don't want to treat our kids like rich kids. We live in a sustainable house and I have a very good job. Our lives are pretty basic."

"Where are you going with this?"

"I'm saying that even with this money we still live like average people. Without the expensive house and more cars."

"I know. It's fine. You don't have to take the bag back."
"Really?"

"Yeah. It's only the bag anyways. It's not like you got other stuff."
"Uhh no. No I didn't.", he lied.

"I kept the car so it's fair."
"Right. You are absolutely right. I'll be right back. I have to uhm...yeah."

Hyunjin hurries out the house and gets in his car that had multiple bags from Versace in the passenger seat. He drives off to return them.

On the first day of school Minho arrives early as did the rest of the teachers and he heads to his classroom. His sits at his desk and puts his feet up.

"Sigh. Never thought this day would come."
"Someone seems right at home."

Minho sees Sullyoon at the door.
"Yup.", he sips his coffee.
"Are you excited?"

"I guess."
"I see you added some chairs.", she points to the bean bags in the corner.

"Oh that's for me. In case I get tired sitting in this chair I have those."

"Well that's something. I hope you have a good day. I'm cheering for you."

"Thanks."

She leaves and Minho looks over the roster.
"Only ten kids? Huh."

Some time later the first kid arrives.
"Hello. And who's this?", he walks over to the door.

"Hi. This is Taekook."

(The kid's names will be various ship names from different groups since I can't think of anything else >_<)

"He looks well behaved."
"Don't let him fool you. He's a bit of a loose cannon."

"Trust me. I am great at reading children. And I can relate."
"Ok. I hope you have no trouble."

"And your name?"
"Taehyung."
Minho writes it down on the roster next to their child's name.

After a few more kids Jinhyun comes.
"Oh look who finally decided to show up."

"We're not even late.", Hyunjin says.
"Jinhyun's not but you are. I thought you'd be the first."

"Put all your eggs in one basket? That's not like you."
"Where's Felix?"

"Talking with the principal. What's his name?"
"Chan."

"Right. Felix.", he called him over.
"Hi Minho. Aww what cute set up you have."

"Babe, all he added were a few chairs."
"Not true. There's some stuff in the closet."

"Well, I need to stop by work soon. Be a boy ok, gummy bear?", he kissed his cheek.

Then Felix says goodbye.
"Eomma will miss you a lot."
"Ouuu..", Jinhyun spoke.

"S-so much..", he gives a hug and cries.
"He'll be ok, Felix. I'll watch him and everyone else."

"I trust you. Bye my angel."

"Mama!"
"Come on, babe. We have to let him go.", Hyunjin pulls him along.

"I can't! He needs me."
"Minho will take good care of him."

Felix sniffles. "O-ok."
They leave and got in the car.
"You ok?"

"Yeah. I just didn't think it would be this hard."

"Good thing we got Minho to change his mind. It'll only be a couple hours."

"Sigh. You're right."
