Hyunjin x Felix series 2

Not an icebreaker

Hyunjin jumps up from his nightmare and breathes heavily.
"Hun? What's wrong?"

He looks to his side and sees Felix awake.
"Nothing. Go back to sleep, babe."

The older gets and heads to the bathroom then looks at himself in the mirror.

"Sigh. Another one.", he rinses his face. He leaves the room and gets back into bed but couldn't go back to sleep.

The blonde sleeps soundly by his side and Hyunjin moves him onto his chest and wraps his arms around him. He was soon able to close his eyes for slumber. In the morning the alarm goes off and the older was first to awake. It was his phone and he turns it off before sitting up.

"Babe? You up?", he asked groggily. He looks to his side and saw the blonde bundled up and sitting in the corner facing the wall.

"Oh no. Lixie. Love, what's wrong? Did you have a bad dream too?", he kneels by his side.

"Mm.."
"You haven't been in your space in a while. Did something else happen?"

"I'm scared..", he mumbles through the blankets.
"Of what, baby? Tell Hyunnie."

"You leaving mwee...for..for a-another person.."

"You know I wouldn't do that, right? Hyunnie will always be with you. I promise. It was only a dream ok?", he rubs his back.

"Mm.."
"Can I see your face, baby?"
Felix turns to him and removes the blankets off his head.

"There's my handsome sunshine. Can you smile for me?", he gently caresses his cheek.

The blonde smiles softly.

"You can smile better than that. Come on let me see it.", he pinched his cheek slightly.

Felix starts laughing.

"There's my baby. Hugs?" The blonde throws himself at him and they embraced each other warmly for a while.

"Hyun?"
"Yes?"
"What would I do without you?"

"Probably the same thing I would do without you."
"What?"

"Die."

"Don't say that."
"I mean it. No matter what you'll always be my number one."

The older kisses his forehead.
"You know my lips are down here, right?"

"Sorry." The two share a sensual kiss. "Ok. Let's get ready. We have to take Jinhyun and look around the daycare."

After getting dressed, Felix clings onto him and they walked out to get their little ones but the other two had already got them.

"Good morning. I hope you don't mind we wanted to help you guys with them.", Jisung told.

"We don't mind at all. Thanks."
"No problem. Is Felix ok?"
"He's been slipping into his little space a bit. He'll be ok."

"I didn't know he had one."
"It's been quite a while. I almost forgot about it too."

"Do you think it has something to do with taking Jinhyun to daycare?"

"He said he had a bad dream. As long as I'm with him he'll be fine."
Felix turns his face away from Jisung and buries it in Hyunjin's back.

"Do you want us to dress Jinhyun and Lily?"
"That'd be great. Maybe I can get Felix back before we leave."

"Take your time."
"Come, Lixie."
Felix follows him back to their room.

"Can you believe that, Min? I never would've thought Felix was like that.", he picks up Jinhyun from his high chair and sets him on the floor.

"I can. He's still the same."
"Yah. Don't make fun. It's a gentle space for him. One wrong move and he might snap."

"How do you know?"
"It's good to be informed. Right Jinhyun?" The little one throws his toy around.

"So much energy. How are you related to your appa?"

Felix lies on the bed wrapping himself in the covers once again.
"Oh Lixie, don't do that love."

"Ughhnnn..I don't feel good Hyunnie."
"What's wrong?"

"Me want to sleep.."

"I need to go to the school and I need you with me. We can take a nap when we get back. You want a plushie?"

"Mhmm.."
"Ok. I'll get one."

The older searches through their closet then finds one.
"You remember this one. The first one I got you."

Felix nods and takes the plushie and holds onto it tight.
"My head hurtss."

"Ok. Hold on.", he goes into the bathroom for pain medicine then gives it to him. "Lixie, I need you to be here with me. For Jinhyun and Lily, ok? I need you."

The younger closes his eyes and breathes in deep.
"I need you too."

"Will you try to behave then?"
"Mhmm."
"I'll reward you if you're good."

"Ice cream?"
"Any kind you want."
"YAYY!!"

I knock was heard at the door then Jisung enters to see the older brushing Felix's hair.

"They are all set."
"Thank a whole lot, Jisung."
"You're welcome. How's Felix doing?"

"I'm great! So good. Hyun is giving me ice cream later.", he smiles.
"If you behave. Ok I'm done.", he finished putting the blonde's hair half up half down ponytail.

"Ooh. I look pretty."
"You always look pretty.", Hyunjin puts the brush back in the bathroom.

"Felix, I'm sorry I didn't know."
"Why are you sorry? I'm the one who didn't tell you.", he looks at his reflection of his hair.

"For making you not want to tell me."

"There's no proper way to bring that up. I can't just say I have a little space out of nowhere. It's not a good icebreaker. I didn't tell Hyunjin the first time either. It just..showed up. Don't worry too much about it ok?", he rests his hands on Jisung's shoulders.

"Ok."
"Let's go before we're late."
