Hyunjin x Felix series 2

Day 1 part II/ Day 2

Jisung was in the hospital room still going through his contractions with the support of Felix being there. The older gets tired of walking back and forth so he takes a seat. The doctor enters.

"Doc, when can I get this baby out of me?"
"How far are the contractions?"
"Screw the contractions! Just let it end now!"

"7 minutes and 43 seconds.", Felix told.
"In order to proceed it has to be three to five minutes apart."

"Ughh!! I can't stand it anymore! I want...", he starts breaking down crying.
"Don't cry, Jisung. You're almost there.", Felix rubs his back.

"It wasn't even supposed to happen yet. That's why they're so far apart. This baby is coming too early. I want Minhooo..", he sobs.

"Shh ok. I will call him again. You have nothing to worry about. Your baby will be just fine and healthy."

"O..k.", he sniffled.

The blonde gets his phone out again and calls Minho. He finally picks up.
"Hello? Felix?"

"It's about damn time. Where are you?"
"I'm on the way back to the school."
"Did you get my messages?"

"I did. How's he doing?"
"Not too bad." Jisung then yells from the top of his lungs.

"..Not too good either. He isn't ready for labor yet. He needs you so hurry up."

"I need to ask some teachers to cover my class when we get back. I'll try to hurry. Can I talk to him?"

Felix hands the phone over.
"M-Minho?"
"Jisung, I'm on my way back right now ok?"

"Please come. I need you."
"You're gonna be fine, love. Hang in there for me and I'll be there soon."

"Ughn..it hurts still. After the medicine. I can't do this..why did I agree to this? I hate you! And your dick! That's not true. I love you, Minho. I don't think I can do this at all."

Jisung's emotions were all over the place.

"Yes you can. I know it. Listen to me. You can get through this. Ok? Remember sunshine and rainbows."

"Hah~ Ok. Sunshine and rainbows."
"That's right. Repeat that until I get there. I have to go now. Be strong. I love you."

"I love you too.."

The call ends and Jisung hands the younger his phone back. He wipes the tears from his eyes before standing up to walk around while repeating his mantra in his head. Hyunjin calls Felix after picking up the kids.

"Are you still at the hospital?"
"Yes."
"Can you come home or should I go there?"

"Hold on. Jisung-"
"Leave this room and I'll throw your limp body into the Grand fucking Canyon.", he glared.

"Yeah..I have to stay until Minho shows up. Which would be any moment, Jisung."
"Aarrrggg!! He needs to hurry his ass up!"

"Language."
"Fuck you."
"That's not nice, love.", Minho comes in.

"Minho.", Jisung walks to him while holding his stomach then hits the older's chest. "Ass. What took you so long?"

"I'm sorry. You look beautiful as always." He compliments even though Jisung was sweaty with tired red eyes from crying and exhaustion.

"I'm so tired, Min."
"I'll get a doctor."
"No. Don't leave. Stay."

"I'll go get them.", Felix leaves.
"Lay down. You know I'm proud of you."
"Y-you are?"

"I am. For handling this so well. And being strong.", he moves the younger's damp hair away from his face to kiss his forehead. "I love you."

"I love you too."

Next day at 3am Felix waits in the waiting room, falling asleep while Hyunjin was home with the kids. Minho walks out and noticed the blonde asleep on the bench.

"Felix? Felix.", he shakes him.
"Oh. How's Jisung?"
"Calmer but still the same. Why don't you head home?"

"No I'm fine. I told him I would stay here as he did for me."
"Would like a cup of coffee?"

"Yes. That'll help."

Minho fetches some coffee and a blanket before coming back and sitting down next to Felix.

"Is he asleep?"
"Yeah. Thank you for being there when I wasn't."
"My pleasure. He's my best friend."

"He said fuck you to your face though."
"He's just in pain. It's what we do. I'll get him back later."

"You sure you wanna stay? It's not comfortable laying out here."
"I'm fine. Really."

"Ok. I should go back before he wakes up.", the older leaves.

Felix drinks his coffee while on his phone. Later he gets surprised by kiss on his cheek from Hyunjin who walked up behind him.

"Hyun? What are you doing here?"
"You think I'd leave you alone all night?"
"What about the kids?"

"My sister has an eye on them."
A smile appears on the blonde's face. "I'm glad you have it all worked out."

"Yup.", he wraps his arm around him.
"We're in for a long night." Felix rests his head on his shoulder before closing his eyes.
